Boungiorno. From June 21st to June 26th, 2026, we rented an apartment in Ostia with the intention of exploring Rome and relaxing on the beach. It was a perfect choice! The sea is clear, the sand is graphite gray. For 3 people on a weekday, 2 sun loungers and an umbrella cost 30 euros. The beach is open from 9am to 7pm. The town itself is beautiful. The architecture and palm trees complement everything. The water is shallow, perfect for small and medium-sized children. There's a volleyball court and a restaurant on site. Good luck!

Very large, well-equipped beach with several smaller ones. On a negative note, the beach resort, being so large, would be nice to have at least a kiosk opposite the bar, otherwise you'd have to walk miles for a coffee or to use the bathroom. The showers could be improved. But I'll give it three stars for everything else, which is good.

Zero place to change, only two super small cubicles at the entrance and both dirty. Hot showers are paid extra, and there were only around 4 showers. Prices on the high end for 2 beach beds and an umbrella. Good beach for swimming and playing with kids. Vendors from outside come around trying to sell services or products, also it was noisy with people playing music on speakers.

Beautiful, well-attended, and safe place with music even at the bar in the afternoon. Friendly and helpful staff. A lounger and umbrella are around €16, a good price. Easily accessible by public transport via the Lido Centro train stop.

In an instant, you'll taste summer. This is where a rich aperitivo brunch begins: enjoy freshly prepared cold pasta, bruschetta with tomato and basil, or tuna mousse, all served as finger food. Next up are barbecued drumsticks, olives, cheese triangles, chips, and generous slices of pinza with mortadella, stracciatella, and pistachios, finishing with delicious breaded and fried chicken strips. The price? Find out for yourself: you'll be pleasantly surprised. Furthermore, the seafront terrace is the ideal place to indulge in a moment of true relaxation.
