Birthday dinner last night. It was supposed to be by the pool but because of the wind they found us a table inside. I'll start by saying that the restaurant was packed... communions... etc... I placed the orders (8 people) for 6 guests and the dishes arrived quite quickly, while I and another guest had to wait an hour. I know the restaurant world very well and the rule says that the wait for the dish must be a maximum of 20 minutes, but I also know that at times the kitchen can go haywire... last night it was like that and even though I'm quite an uncompromising person I don't feel like blaming the kitchen staff. I repeat that a moment of défaillance happens to everyone and managing a kitchen brigade is not easy even if you have the balls and the counter-balls (allow me the term).
