In addition to the beauty of the place, at least for me, I ate a fabulous polenta with chanterelles. I hope to return next year.

We got stuck here after a very demanding hike, unfortunately the food wasn't to our liking, and it's not something everyone can please. We had fried potatoes with eggs, unfortunately the fried potatoes had a bit too much oil on them and the Kaiserschmarn was a bit overcooked , anything can happen, it's all just people. The drinks were very good and the house schnapps was really tasty. What didn't work at all and that's why the star was deducted was the staff, the young man didn't feel like working, I told him that when he was paying, which didn't bother him. We had to wait 3/4 hours for the food, there was a family at the other table with us who arrived much later than we did. They were served immediately and after a few minutes they received the food, among other things, the same as us. Nevertheless, the Alm is very nice, worth a detour and hope that it was just an isolated incident.

Stop on the way up from the Klausberg chairlift. Beautiful mountain hut immersed in the valley, excellent food. Very nice owner.

After having climbed with the Klausberg cable car up to 1600 m, you reach this wonderful glimpse of the Aurina Valley where, in addition to various games for children in a valuable naturalistic context, you can go on numerous trips and, among these, the most known is at Lake Chiusetta (Klaussee). And it was precisely on our way back (path 33) from the aforementioned lake that we stopped at this mountain hut - which stands at around 1800 m. and it is one of eight in the area - welcomed by Sepp, a smiling and hospitable boy who illustrated/handed us the menu after having us sit in the outdoor area overlooking the valley and the mountains. The menu is purely Tyrolean and, in addition to the beer produced on site, products from the farm and the territory are used. We opted for a mixed platter (€17.50 enough for two people) from the mountain which is already a delight for the eyes: tasty speck, 2 good types of salami, cooked ham and horseradish, two different and tasty cheeses, a grappa and excellent accompanying bread, in addition to the appreciated medium beer produced on site and an apple juice with sparkling water for a total of €25.80, absolutely correct in quality and quantity. The room inside is rustically furnished with furnishings and various hanging objects, the background music is decidedly cool, the welcome, the service and the location complete the experience in one of the best mountain huts discovered in Alto Adige.

Dopo essere saliti con la funivia del Klausberg fino ai 1600 m., si giunge in questo meraviglioso scorcio della Valle Aurina dove, oltre a svariati giochi per i bimbi in un pregevole contesto naturalistico, si possono effettuare numerose gite e, tra queste, quella più nota è al lago di Chiusetta (Klaussee). Ed è proprio ritornando (sentiero 33) dal suddetto lago ci siamo fermati in questa malga - che sorge a circa 1800 m. ed è una delle otto presenti nella zona - accolti da Sepp, un ragazzo sorridente ed ospitale che ci ha illustrato/consegnato il menù dopo averci fatto accomodare nel dehor con vista sulla valle ed i monti. Il menù è prettamente tirolese e, oltre alla birra prodotta in loco, vengono utilizzati prodotti del maso e del territorio. Noi abbiamo optato per un tagliere misto (€ 17,50 sufficiente per due persone) della malga che già per gli occhi è una delizia: speck saporito, 2 buoni tipi di salame, prosciutto cotto e rafano, due diversi e gustosi formaggi, una grappa e dell’ottimo pane di accompagnamento, oltre alla apprezzata birra media prodotta in loco ed un succo di mela con acqua frizzante per un totale di € 25,80, assolutamente corretto per qualità e quantità. Il locale all’interno è arredato rusticamente con suppellettili ed oggetti vari appesi, la musica di sottofondo è decisamente cool, l’accoglienza, il servizio e la posizione completano l’esperienza in una delle migliori malghe scoperte in Alto Adige.

Il titolo della recensione è il modo in cui il menù presenta il piatto forte della casa e a mangiarlo ne ho avuto la conferma. Malga molto carina con vista sulle Alpi della Zillertal. Con un bimbo di due anni e mezzo è facilmente raggiungibile anche seguendo il sentiero n. 33 (direzione Klaussee) che passa in mezzo al bosco (in circa 30-40 minuti) per poi tornare al Klausberg per la comoda forestale. Piccolo parco giochi, comodi sdrai, graziosi divanetti, buona musica di sottofondo e tanti colori!

25/08/2024: Luogo incantevole e caratteristico, con bel panorama. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Cibo molto buono con porzioni abbondanti.
11/08/2024: Il ristoro perfetto durante un' escursione! la spettacolare vista che si ha quando si giunge alla baita seurasas viene ulteriormente impreziosita dagli ottimi dolci presenti nel menù, con particolare menzione per la torta all'albicocca. Inoltre, per chi vuole godersi il sole a 2000 msl, la baita dispone di numerose sdraio a disposizione dei clienti. Consigliatissimo

15/12/2024: **A top culinary address in Merano – the Restaurant Trautmannsdorf** This evening we had the pleasure of dining at the Trautmannsdorf restaurant in Meran and it was an experience that was convincing in every respect. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and extremely professional service. The service was attentive and courteous throughout the entire evening and managed to create a warm atmosphere in which you could feel completely comfortable. The evening was an absolute culinary highlight. I chose the grilled beef fillet, which was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, juicy and perfectly complemented by fresh vegetables and delicate truffles - a combination that made every bite a delight. My wife chose the veal fillet, which was also excellent: buttery tender, aromatic and accompanied by crisp, fresh vegetables that highlighted the quality and care of the cuisine. We also chose a **Cà dei Frati**, which went perfectly with the dishes and rounded off the overall picture with its fresh, fruity notes. The wine not only harmonized perfectly with the food, but also underlined the elegant and sophisticated atmosphere of the evening. In summary, our visit to Trautmannsdorf was an absolute highlight that we can recommend without reservation. The combination of first-class service, exquisite food and a stylish ambience makes this restaurant a real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience culinary highlights in Meran. We'll definitely be back
27/09/2024: Exceptionally good food, with reasonably sized portions. However, it is also quite expensive. What I didn't like was the fact that we were told most of the menu verbally and everyone (there were four of us) had forgotten half of it after 10 dishes at the latest. I would have liked to choose in peace. But all in all a very nice experience.
