The Speckstuben used to be good, serving only pasta.
Nowadays, it's not so good. The pizza was edible. Bardolino, however, has more to offer in terms of cuisine, and the price-performance ratio is good.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch in a pergola setting at the Speckstube in Bardolino.
The first course, a crisp salad with finely sliced cold meat, delighted us.
The main course was a delight, with perfectly prepared pasta and my colleague's juicy spare ribs.
The drinks, both a glass of wine and a beer, complemented our dishes perfectly.
The friendly and professional service deserves special mention.
We highly recommend the Speckstube and look forward to our next visit. Well done! Bravo 👏

Very rustic decor, service was okay. Prices are cheaper since it's on the main street, but that wasn't a problem. We had spaghetti vongole for 17.50, which was okay, but nothing special. More like pasta with garlic and oil, then the vongole on the side. We should have ordered meat, which many other tables had.

I absolutely recommend this place. At the entrance we were greeted kindly and welcomed. As soon as we sat down a cheese appetizer arrived. Once we placed the order we immediately noticed that it was good priced. And the place was full of lunch workers, so the food was good. When we arrived, good portions, lots of them. Super and very good. Finally, they offered limoncello and licorice in small bottles. Very kind. In addition, in all the years I have been in Italy, no one has ever deducted the bill like that. And they were very kind. I recommend it for families. We spent 50 euros for 3 people. Excellent and filling!

Abbiamo pranzato nel giorno di Santo Stefano con una scaloppina di maiale alla pizzaiola con patatine fritte ed un grill mix di bovino. All'inizio ci hanno portato del formaggio del Monte Baldo: molto buono. Servizio ottimo e molto celere. L'arredamento è in stile montano come da ostaria: molto semplice, ma bello e caratteristico. Temperatura ottima per mangiare. Alla fine ci hanno offerta una grappa alla liquirizia e del limoncello. Bagno pulito, in ordine e dotato degli accessori. Il prezzo è più basso degli altri locali del centro. I piatti sono stracolmi e abbondanti e tutto buonissimo. Giudizio finale: ottimo e da ritornarci
