The restaurant is meticulously maintained and the food is well-executed. I would have preferred a little more flavor in the side dishes.

Location done well, the chef puts you at ease, very kind staff, dishes cooked with knowledge and with high-level products. Definitely recommended.

Eating fish dishes is a guarantee.

La cena ha strabiliato tutte noi! Ottimi ingredienti, di qualità, esaltati dalla preparazione ad hoc. L'ambiente é davvero curatissimo sia nella pulizia che nell'arredamento, il personale e il titolare molto capaci, gentilissimi e simpatici. Dovessi tornare ad Isernia, non avrei alcun dubbio sul tornare in questo ristorante!

“Sorsi e Morsi” is located in a convenient and easily accessible position in Isernia, with the convenience of parking in the immediate vicinity, which is always an appreciable aspect. The restaurant is divided into two distinct areas: the first space, conceived as a shop, is studied in detail and offers an interesting and original touch. The second entrance leads to the actual restaurant, a well-furnished environment, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was slightly influenced by the location of the table, located in the immediate vicinity of the front door. Every opening of the door generated an annoying draft, creating evident discomfort which affected overall comfort. The meal began with an appreciated welcome entrée: An artisanal sandwich with buffalo mozzarella and prawn, delicate and well-balanced in flavours. The appetizers, specifically the tempura cod and the seafood "salad", proved to be well executed, with fresh ingredients and defined flavors that met expectations. The first courses maintained a good level of quality: the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, with seasonings with strong flavours, perhaps slightly accentuated in terms of salt, but overall to our liking. A special mention goes to the scialatielli, which stood out for its taste and consistency. As for dessert, we tasted the salted caramel log with caramelized hazelnuts: a pleasant and good quality dessert, albeit slightly below expectations in terms of flavor intensity. The service was overall precise and quick, perhaps even too quick in some phases, but we can understand the speed considering our visit was close to closing time. Finally, the bill was in line with expectations, without surprises and consistent with the quality offered. Ultimately, “Sorsi e Morsi” represents a valid option for those looking for refined and high-quality cuisine in Isernia. Despite some small inconveniences, the overall experience was positive and I would recommend it.
