I wasn't expecting to find a seafood restaurant of this caliber in a remote coastal town, but I was pleasantly surprised. The fish is impeccably fresh, cooked with great care and paired creatively yet consistently well. Each dish highlights the flavors of the sea without being overdone, a sign of a cuisine that understands and respects the ingredients. The atmosphere is welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail, and as soon as you enter, you're struck by the splendid open-view wine cellar: a truly remarkable selection of wines, both local and national, tastefully displayed and instantly striking. The wine pairings were perfect, and the expert and passionate staff recommended them. A gastronomic experience absolutely worth discovering—a little gem you'll gladly return to and recommend without hesitation.

We were brought here by friends. It was a lovely evening, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere, the excellent food, including excellent raw seafood and delicious starters. The host, very friendly and entertaining, gave us excellent advice, and it was a joy to watch him wander around the tables and put on a show that conveys all the love he has for his profession.

"Sorsi e Morsi" is conveniently located in Isernia, easily accessible, and offers the convenience of nearby parking, always a plus. The restaurant is divided into two distinct areas: the first, conceived as a shop, is meticulously detailed and offers an interesting and original touch. The second entrance leads to the restaurant itself, a beautifully furnished space with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was slightly impacted by the location of our table, located right next to the front door. Every time the door opened, a draft blew in, creating a noticeable discomfort that impacted our overall comfort. The meal began with a welcome entrée: a delicate, artisanal sandwich with buffalo mozzarella and shrimp, well-balanced in flavor. The appetizers, specifically the tempura cod and seafood salad, were well-executed, with fresh ingredients and distinct flavors that met our expectations. The first courses maintained a good level of quality: the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, with boldly flavored sauces, perhaps a little salty, but overall to our liking. A special mention goes to the scialatielli, which stood out for their flavor and texture. For dessert, we sampled the salted caramel log with caramelized hazelnuts: a pleasant and good-quality dessert, albeit slightly below expectations in terms of flavor intensity. The service was overall precise and prompt, perhaps even too fast at times, but we can understand the delay considering our visit was close to closing time. Finally, the bill was in line with expectations, without surprises and consistent with the quality offered. Ultimately, "Sorsi e Morsi" is a solid option for those seeking refined, high-quality cuisine in Isernia. Despite a few minor drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend it.

This place blew us away. The cuisine is truly spectacular, with unique, well-crafted dishes featuring unique flavors. Everything is primarily seafood-based, with dishes that are a little different from the norm. We tried calamarata alla Nerano, Arravugliata, and a seafood Genovese... everything was out of this world! For appetizers, a tuna tataki with purple cabbage and marinated salmon with vegetables. I can't describe the explosion of flavors on my palate. The meat dishes are also excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is comfortable and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, but I recommend making a reservation. We will definitely be back.
