Sora Lella In Cerveteri

What can I say? We ate very well! Flavors of other times, the young fourth-generation owner revealed to me that he still uses the original recipes of his great-grandmother, and it shows!!💪🏻 The view from the balcony is wonderful, you find yourself observing a beautiful lush nature from above. We will gladly return.

Historic restaurant in Ceri which enjoys a fantastic location. The wild boar 'mbriaco with rice polenta and fried artichokes is excellent, while the rice polenta with porcini mushrooms is too greasy and the cut is not very tasty and not very tender. The Catalan cream and the house Vermentino are good. Medium-high quality/price. The terrace with splendid view is highly recommended!! I would give a 3.5 but the system doesn't allow it 🙄

Experience to be repeated soon. Very nice place overlooking a wonderful valley. As soon as we arrived (there were two of us + the dog) we asked if our French bulldog could come in with us... and the very nice and helpful owner let her in before us and told us that there were no problems keeping her next to our table. They immediately found us a seat, the girl who served us is called Gioia and she made us sit in a very romantic and nice corner just for the two of us which overlooks the splendid valley from a balcony. A corner of paradise we had a great time. Excellent food...on Gioia's advice we took...a starter where there were wonderful marinated aubergines and hand-cut raw ham which had a spectacular flavour. Excellent sausage and exceptional loin. As a first course, I recommend homemade ravioli with artichokes inside, sage butter and a fried artichoke crumble. A flavor to leave you speechless. For the second course, piglet with potatoes 10 cum laude and an excellent rabbit hunter. Unfortunately we didn't try the desserts because we were full. Noteworthy coffee and flavor. Gioia, an exceptional girl, we were served quickly with excellent advice and in a very calm and friendly way. She is a girl who truly deserves our praise. Kind to our bulldog NS to whom he dispensed affection and cuddles whenever he could. In short, everything is 10 out of 10. The place was very nice, the staff were friendly but excluding the appetizer (fair) the first courses were all wrong, fettuccine with mushrooms tasteless, Sora Lella ravioli watery, see photo, the fettuccine with drunken wild boar tasted of nothing Sin

The restaurant is located within the walls of a castle, a medieval area and has a wonderful view of the greenery. The staff welcomed us very early (11.30) and in addition to being very kind and professional, they brought us some delicious dishes that left us full and satisfied! We had a first course, a second course, a side dish, a drink, water, dessert and coffee and the final price was undoubtedly lower than I would have expected. If we ever end up in this area again, we will definitely be back and recommend the place to anyone who reads the reviews!! You won't regret it! 🖤

Characteristic restaurant in the small village of Ceri. Nice terrace with a view. Good service, steaming hot food! I ate an excellent rice semolina polenta with porcini mushrooms and delicious fried artichokes. Everything excellent! The managers are nice and friendly.

Beautiful evening, homemade cuisine, but with taste typical local products... honest prices, beautiful location in a historic village.....

Atmosfera piacevole, cibo buono ma un po' ridotto. Antipasto per due un po' scarso. Pasta con funghi porcini buona, per il resto nella norma. Un po caro. Come dire non si vive di solo pane. A volte si vive sul nome.

La trattoria "Sora Lella" è un autentico viaggio nella tradizione romana, un luogo dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato per custodire i veri sapori della cucina di una volta. I piatti sono eccezionali, in particolare i tonnarelli all'uovo alla Cuccagna, che sono stati semplicemente indimenticabili. I prezzi non sono propriamente da trattoria, ma la qualità e l’unicità dei sapori giustificano ogni centesimo. Il servizio è stato buono e veloce, nonostante fosse sabato. Siamo stati accolti con grande disponibilità in una giornata particolare, approfittando di alcune prenotazioni saltate: una fortuna per noi! Un’esperienza che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca l’essenza della cucina romana.
