The place is small, with four tables for a total of 12 seats. The service is fast and accurate, and the food is very good. The burritos are recommended.

Amazing. Just this. 💯 I was able to get food with no gluten or dairy ingredients. Authentic and everything delicious. Highly recommended find in Bologna!

It was our first night in Bologna, we were tired, and we wanted a quick bite to eat. My husband is Mexican and loves to see what people around the globe do with his cuisine. We saw Sombrero and headed straight there! It was quiet when we arrived, which truly was unfortunate because everything about this place - the people, the atmosphere, and especially the food - was wonderful. We started with the red jalapeños and chili nachos and both were just incredible. And the guacamole, oh my god. It was so fresh but I should definitely expect that in Bologna. My son ordered the grilled chicken burger and fries and it looked wonderful. My son was very happy with it and very full. My husband and I both got variations of a rice dish (I can’t remember the name, sorry) and it was delicious. The owner, who was very welcoming and kind, even made sure I got enough vegetables with my food. We also got tacos which were TO. DIE. FOR. So incredibly delightful. I was so full I could hardly walk when we left. What a lovely meal. I feel like Mexican food has been ruined for me though because now, I know the very best Mexican food is right here at Sombrero in Bologna, Italy! Thank you for the incredible food! We hope to see you next time!

22/09/2025: I went there with some friends. It was a quiet place and we had lunch outside. I had chicken and shrimp fajitas, nachos with spicy salsa, and nachos with cheese and guacamole. I liked everything, the waitress was kind.
05/09/2025: So a half-dark place, a pissed-off waitress, it seems like she's doing you a favor by serving... you must be a real food lover, very heavy and in my opinion prepared well in advance, otherwise the meat can be so tasted that it's not fresh, recently cooked, not worth going back for...
