A magical place A place where time stands still Where the key word is ROMANTIC Remo is a truly extraordinary person, and even today, at over 80 years old, he puts passion into what he does. 05/10/2025: Fantastic restaurant. Simple, home-cooked dishes. Great for lunch with family or friends. Good appetizers, superb first courses. The grilled food is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. A little outside of Rome, which makes this place a great choice for a quick lunch. Excellent service.
21/09/2025: Family-run restaurant with two indoor dining rooms and a summer veranda surrounded by the woods, a country atmosphere with good, homemade food. An appetizer shared between four people, four first courses, one sliced ​​steak, one mixed roast, three sausages and potatoes, vegetables, wine, water, one dessert, and two coffees with sweets. €140. Everything is excellent.

12/07/2025: We stopped here to grab a bite to eat on the way home. It was a truly unique experience! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Vito (a true gem) made us some delicious panzerotti that made us want to stay in Puglia. Plus, the owner offered us other delicacies to try. I recommend this place not only for the food but also for the kindness of the entire staff. The horse meat panzerotto was truly something special. If there were 10 stars, I'd give it all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the moment we stepped in, we felt the warmth of a family-run place where passion and tradition are at the heart of everything. We started with their homemade Arancini – crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy on the inside – the kind that instantly tells you it’s made with love. Then came the pizzas: the spicy Vesuvio, bursting with bold flavors; the mortadella and stracciatella combo, rich and indulgent; and the bresaola pizza, a delicate balance of savory and fresh. Each dough was light and airy, with just the right crunch – clearly made in-house and with care. What sets Il Grifone apart is the soul they put into every dish. All ingredients are homemade or locally sourced, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to feel at home. If you’re in Puglia and craving true Italian pizza made with heart, this is the place to be.
