Smoky Joe In Aversa

Preferable to book, really excellent food and staff, welcoming and modern environment. Truly excellent quality food, you absolutely must try their fondue. We'll be back to get their platters.

Mediocre quality of the dishes served, prices a little high compared to the quality of the dishes served.

As BBQ enthusiasts and after seeing various video reviews on social media, we decided to try Smokeckey Joe. The attention to the customer was immediate right from the booking phone call, complete with directions to the car parks close to the venue. Very beautiful location in the center of Aversa and a more than courteous welcome from both the owner and the dining room staff who were ready to provide us with explanations about the dishes and to share a chat with us. We tasted various appetizers including the delicious sweet potatoes and the delicious smoked meatballs. We then chose the tray with various types of meat and cooking methods and, being three of us, we tasted a bit of everything. All very good and with real preparations (not from the supermarket!). Super pulled pork and pork belly :). What can I say, absolutely worth trying and trying again.

What a gem in Italy…American BBQ done to perfection. I am an American from the South, and this brisket was actually the best I’ve ever had. What a nice surprise! The pulled pork is delicious, the BBQ beans were fantastic…everything was just absolutely delicious! A true taste of home that cannot be missed if you’re an American and are in the area. The staff and owner are super friendly and welcoming and make you feel like family. So delicious that we ate here two nights in a row. 😋 Highly recommended!

The second night in a row that my wife and I visited Smoky Joes… honestly we absolutely love this establishment!!! The best Brisket and BBq this side of the Atlantic…. The owner and staff went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and like family! I had the brisket sandwich the first night and their to die for cheesesteak the second night.. and OMG… amazing!!! You must try if you are missing a taste of home here in Italy!!!!

Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare in questa fantastica steak house, e non possiamo che elogiare l'intera esperienza! Il cibo è stato eccezionale: carne di qualità superiore, cotta alla perfezione e accompagnata da contorni irresistibili. Il personale è altamente qualificato, sempre gentile e disposto a fare qualsiasi cosa per accontentare i clienti. L'atmosfera è unica, con un tocco d'America che rende l'ambiente ancora più accogliente e autentico. Il giardino incantevole aggiunge un fascino particolare, perfetto per una serata all'aperto. Un luogo ideale per chi ama la buona cucina e un servizio impeccabile in un contesto che ti fa sentire subito a casa.
