30/08/2025: Last night my daughter took us to Mizzon for dinner (let me start by saying we went there in July last year, which was delicious, and then at the end of August last year, which was really poor, with the excuse that it was late and there were a lot of us).
Yesterday I was with my family, and we gave it another try.
It's true that I'm picky, and so is my family, because I cook very well and always focus on quality and freshness, and my children call me "the fool," but yesterday we were disappointed, despite the kindness of the owners, the efficiency of the staff, and the beauty of the place.
We chose the mixed seafood appetizer, which was nothing special, edible, except for the sautéed mussels, which was not bad. Then for the first course, the paccheri with monkfish. The sauce was too red (in fact, it wasn't fresh tomato) and overpowered the flavor of the fish, and the paccheri didn't please. It's a shame I had high expectations. The spaghetti with clams was lukewarm and bland, and the desserts were quite good.
Disappointed, when I head to the seaside I expect delicious dishes, and when I eat them my eyes start to turn into hearts... I forgot the prices are in line with the prices of the seaside area.
27/08/2025: My husband and I were there last night, and I can assure you we ate very well.
I recommend the grilled swordfish with pistachios.
Compliments to all the staff, they were very polite.
