It is freely accessible to the public, and for a donation of one euro, you can visit a stunning underground crypt with early Christian remains and an ancient baptistery. If you're in Catania, it's definitely worth a visit.

01/04/2025: Small church that from the outside could be like any other in the area, however! Once you go in you’ll see a staircase going down and into a small crypt that’s part formed because of the lava caves and is now a tribute area. When it’s hot outside this place is a shelter, but the steps are steep and narrow so may be hard for some. Absolutely worth visiting tho and seeing this wonder
