I returned after a very positive first experience in June, where there were six of us at peak times. This time, I was alone with a friend of mine visiting Naples, and Signora Bettola made me proud to be Neapolitan. 🫶🏻
Let's start with the basics: the place evokes places and stereotypes, with clothes hanging in the air and other reminiscences of Neapolitan tradition. The service, even though it was a Friday lunch and there were few customers, was quick and all the dishes were delicious and arrived promptly. We ordered the Montanara, the Trio of Frittatine, the Mozzarella with cherry tomatoes, a plate of Ziti alla Genovese, and a plate of Spaghetti alla Nerano. Frittatina Nerano: 7/10, very good, but I expected something more; perhaps crispier zucchini chips would make the difference. Classic Frittatina: 9/10, nothing to complain about, very good both inside and out. I'd probably add a little more béchamel sauce, but it's still delicious. Sausage and Pepper Frittatina: 10/10, an easy win with the sausage and peppers, but overall, the best of the three for me: crunchy on the outside, soft and well-filled on the inside, very flavorful.
The other dishes were also good, perhaps a tad too much oil in the Spaghetti alla Nerano and a bit too salty in the Ziti with Genovese. I'd also reconsider the €2.50 cover charge, which could be a bit lower. In any case, I'm very satisfied with the two times I've been to Signora Bettola and will definitely be back. ✨

Cozy place, nice, friendly and helpful staff! And the food is very delicious! The tiramisu is incredibly tasty and serving it in a coffee machine is a sensational idea! 😄It is recommended to book in advance because there are many people! If you are in Naples, go here, you will not regret it, we have eaten here several times! 🙂

Let's start by saying that the quality of the ingredients is very high. The parmigiana was very good, the nerano was plentiful and well-balanced in flavor. For dessert, I recommend the babbaiola. Reservations are a great option, and the price is reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the products offered, the service, and the helpfulness of the waiters. I will be back.

La Signora Bettola, nel cuore del suggestivo quartiere Chiaia a Napoli, è un vero gioiello incastonato a pochi passi dalla pittoresca riviera di Chiaia. Il ristorante è molto bello e accogliente, perfetto per chi cerca un’atmosfera calda e familiare, valorizzata da un personale straordinariamente cortese e attento ad ogni dettaglio.
Eravamo in due e dopo una bellissima passeggiata per le vie di Napoli, ci siamo consolati con un pranzo davvero eccellente. Abbiamo assaporato una pasta patate e provola, ricca e avvolgente, e un piatto di spaghetti alla Nerano, un capolavoro della gastronomia napoletana, di una prelibatezza autentica e indimenticabile. La chiusura è stata perfetta con una delizia al limone e un fresco sorbetto, che hanno completato un’esperienza culinaria di altissimo livello.
Da napoletano verace, posso dire con certezza che tornerei altre mille volte in questo ristorante tipico, che sa conservare e celebrare la tradizione campana in ogni piatto. Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia immergersi nei sapori autentici della cucina partenopea: una vera perla da non perdere!
