We booked this trattoria based on the high number of positive reviews, but upon arrival, we realized it left much to be desired, with its rather dated and shabby furnishings and style. Despite this, we sat down and were immediately greeted by the owner, who made us feel at home. The limited menu (since there were only eight of us, we were able to sample almost the entire menu) was brought directly to us on a large blackboard and explained by the owner. All the dishes were authentic and high-quality, without any frills. Highly recommended if you want to try typical Lucanian dishes.

Dine in a family atmosphere, the dishes are irresistible, but the owners are the real secret ingredient, ready to welcome every visitor at any time, as if they were part of their family, and enriching the dishes with anecdotes and stories about the dishes and more.

We passed by this little town at 15:30 on a clam September afternoon, the host invited us to have lunch here. None else was in the restaurant. If you are hungry and drive by here you can stop at any time, give the host a call and they will come and cook for you.
They have very good local food, for a fair price. We shared a few antipasti, a few pasta dishes and some meat. We spent around 20€ each. Totally worth it

A very pleasant family atmosphere. The owner helped us find accommodation late in the evening and then welcomed us into his restaurant. He passionately presented each item on the menu. On-site, you can read a family album and the history of this family-owned establishment. Delicious food and very fair prices.
