There is such a fun and unique cocktail bar in Sorrento. My ideal night is to finish a meal with a cocktail full of flavor and creativity. The Italian gestures and menu design are very interesting, love it. All the services are also very friendly. I really like this place and will definitely come back.

A MUST GO!!! SHUB is the perfect speakeasy bar with an incredible mixologist and staff. The husband and wife duo really put a lot of love into making this what it is. The cocktails are SO good. You can find something like this in NYC and we were so happy to find it during our travels in Italy.

Good cocktails but expensive. They made us wait over an hour for the food only for it to be wrong and then tried to get us to stay anyways. Such a shame everyone else’s stuff looked good

Hidden gem of a speakeasy bar with amazing drinks and atmosphere!

Great speakeasy in Sorrento, great ambience and food. Drinks had way too much ice. Service could be greatly improved, seemed they were hurrying us in order to get more people in, kept trying to take our plates before we were finished.

Secret Hub, or SHUB Sorrento is not one bar, but two - two formats, two diverse spaces fused together to produce the most exciting new opening in Italy in 2020. The concept was conceived by Valerio Izzo, co-owner and manager of Piazzetta Milu, an outstanding Two Michelin-starred restaurant in Castellammare di Stabia. The first bar at SHUB is located on the ground floor, which you will see as you enter. The ground floor bar is a contemporary street bar and features a modern bar counter and a large sharing table, a raw kitchen and a wine list with over 150 references. The cocktail offer is focused on the Italian aperitivo ritual, with a rock and roll reinterpretation of the great classics. Going down the stairs instead you feel catapulted into a completely different context for style, colors and materials used. As you walk down the steps, it is as if you are entering an entirely different dimension, immediately forgetting that you are in Sorrento. There are warm and welcoming colors, materials such as carefully selected brass and marble that refer to the world of luxury. The artistic installations with androgenic references with a surrealist taste. The furnishings reflect the accuracy of the selection of wines and spirits. Behind the main bar, an elegant and modern counter featuring four comfortable bar stools is Valerio Izzo himself. In addition to SHUB’s exciting signature cocktails, you will find over 200 whiskies/whiskeys on display in the downstairs space as well as a fridge devoted to exquisite champagnes. For an even more intimate experience, turn left at the bar counter and walk down a few steps to the lower den, the highlight of SHUB. The sexy and modern lighting, art and décor reminds one of the restaurant Contraste Milano but with an edgy Korova Milk Bar feel. But instead of Moloko plus, you can savor one of SHUB’s exquisite signature drinks. They are served in elegant Japanese glassware with crystal clear ice, on par with the best ice programs in the country. SHUB’s unique atmosphere for Sorrento has attracted a beautiful mix of clientele, from tourists to locals, to Italians who make the trip from Naples.

The absolute best cocktail bar in Sorrento, if not all of Italy - like the other reviews, I can only say it is a hidden gem. The vibe is amazing (check out the massive speakeasy in the cavern downstairs). The cocktails are fantastic and all the staff are super friendly. The drink quality is so good that they host pop-ups all over Italy in the big cities. If you are looking for a party in Sorrento, or just a great drink with locals, you need to stop here - it made my trip!

Rating 8.5/10 an alternative bar. a nice alternative to the classic Saturday night outing in Sorrento, a small but very welcoming and youthful place. all accompanied by a friendly and knowledgeable staff, in particular the barman who makes delicious drinks. p.s. I recommend trying his negroni
