I've been a Shizen customer for many years! I consider it a restaurant with quality products and truly delicious and varied dishes... and a very nice place! I'm writing this review "with kindness"; perhaps it will give you pause... At the cashier, you often ask me how we found it (which I think is a nice and professional question in a restaurant, out of concern for and concern for their customers), but then the answer to the question is: "Everything was wonderful, except the undrinkable coffee!" :)! Laughing about it... you confirm that it's not the best and add it to my bill...! And you give me a chocolate... :)??? We found it really ridiculous... a bit of a pushover... getting lost for two coffees... :) hahahahaha Anyway.... DELICIOUS FOOD! We just wanted to point this out... really funny..."

We've been frequenting this restaurant for several years and now feel right at home. The quality has always remained top-notch, never disappointing. The sushi is excellent, prepared with the freshest ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The service is another strong point, with fantastic, kind, and professional staff, always ready to make you feel welcome. We've been coming here for years. The food and the combinations are unique; it's one of the best places to eat in Turin. The staff is wonderful and unique. A big shout out to Lorenza, who is unique in her descriptions of the dishes, and to all the staff for their kindness and excellent service!

This is an excellent restaurant in Turin if you're looking to enjoy a superb selection of Japanese dishes. Fresh fish, refined flavors, a wide variety of dishes (all freshly made), and wonderful pairings. Innovative and fusion. Table service is sometimes confusing: it would be nice to clear the empty plates before bringing the next course. We found ourselves twice with the already tiny table full of empty plates. The upstairs location is small, so it's inevitably a bit noisy, but that's the fault of rude customers who like to raise their voices wherever they are. The downstairs dining room is bright but noisy because it's larger than the upstairs and therefore can accommodate a larger number of customers. The downstairs bathroom definitely needs rethinking, as it doesn't guarantee privacy (men and women enter through the same door) and is located in a secluded and somewhat messy area.
