Shi's In Vicenza

Last night we passed through Vicenza and stopped for dinner at this very welcoming restaurant. The tuna tartare and stracciatella were AMAZING. Unique dishes and super friendly staff.

I was at the restaurant a couple of days ago, everything was excellent, from the service to the food. The staff was very friendly throughout the dinner. A great experience.

Average food, everything tastes more or less the same. Among other things, many dishes are paid for despite the all-you-can-eat menu. Average service. Not many people in the restaurant, but a bit slow. I wouldn't return.

A nice place, the staff is friendly, maybe sometimes there's a little too much waiting for service. I don't see it as a place for families, but more for intimate gatherings. The prices are good!

We stopped for dinner, simply delicious! Excellent food, generous portions but well-prepared, truly thoughtful and tasty dishes, the pad thai was superb... friendly and helpful service, a great find!

It's lost its former luster. The cuisine has become more like other all-you-can-eat restaurants, and the prices have gone up. The typical hot dishes are no longer available. It's a shame, I don't think I'll be back.

The lunch experience is disappointing. You pay a fixed price, but the included dishes are few, and to eat something tasty you have to add extras... we weren't properly informed, but we "overheard" them explaining to the neighbors... plus, for the "included" dishes, you're limited to one per person. Basically, NOOON IS AN ALL YOU CAN EAT!!!!

Lunch menu, Saturday reservations highly recommended. Very disappointed with the experience: the lunch menu has virtually no choice, with only salmon as the sashimi. The tartare is salmon only, and you can order a maximum of 3. No dishes other than rice and pasta. No raw fish, a total of 15 dishes to choose from. I understand everything, but for €18.90, EIGHTEEN EUROS AND NINETY seems like the ultimate rip-off. You also pay for table service; in short, for two of us, we spent €62. I won't be returning, and I definitely won't be returning to this chain if I ever find it again. I trusted the Google review, but a big NO. Two stars for the atmosphere, as all the sofas are broken and ruined, and the plates are chipped.

We returned after a few years because we had a good impression, but things have changed a bit for the worse. There are more dishes, but for most you have to pay €1-€1.50 more if you want them, and a holiday lunch menu costs €18.90, which is honestly a lot for Vicenza, plus water for €2.20. The service was slow, but it was simply due to a lack of internal organization. There were many tables and only one girl to take care of them, super kind and super good, but it's too much stress for one person. Some hot fish dishes were bitter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.
