Sherwood In Vercurago

Pub/brewery inside the Parco degli Alpini in Vercurago (on the road to reach the Somasca area), home of the "Innominati" biker association. At the weekend it often offers events with mainly hard&heavy live music (with cover bands ranging from Guns n' Roses to Iron Maiden) and has excellent cuisine made mainly of sandwiches, wraps, burgers and fried foods. It is located at the top of the park at the foot of the mountain, and the very short climb to get there is quite steep, not suitable for people with walking problems.

We went on an evening where a cover band was performing, the service was disastrous, the girls worked hard but in the kitchen, as they said, there was only one person. It's a shame because it was a nice evening anyway. The place is small but welcoming, we ordered at 8.30pm, before the concert, and the food arrived at 10.30pm

In the winter it is a very small and packed place. If there are musical events in the summer it is highly recommended

Castle Rock is one of those pubs that has the magic of making you escape from daily routine and stress. It is located in a splendid small park and totally surrounded by greenery. The name Castle Rock recalls the place where many Stephen King stories are set. Stephen King is known to like rock, and in fact this is the music that is usually played in the pub, creating a special atmosphere. Flowing beer, classic pub dishes (delicious and tasty), friendliness and friendliness are what I find every time I go to this magical pub. It is ideal for an evening with friends. Keep it up 👏👏👏.

Nice place and nice atmosphere, arrived out of curiosity, moderately crowded on Friday, ate calmly, good food and good beer
