Shardana Bar Cafè In Sassari

11/08/2026: We stopped for a quick lunch at this osteria in Alghero's historic center. Unfortunately, the highlight was the food, which only partially satisfied us. The Alghero-style agliata was good, but the same couldn't be said for the Alghero-style linguine, which arrived completely drowned in a broth, and the pasta was disjointed (I'd never tried it, but I don't think it's right presented like this). The seafood fregola was adequate, but I've had better. On a positive note, the punctual and friendly service.

11/08/2026: The food was great. We went there spontaneously yesterday. Unfortunately, we were apparently a little late, as the second waiter started arguing in front of us that they were about to close. This was very inconvenient for us; we initially felt stressed because we had ordered a bottle of wine. However, the manager (who may also be the owner) came and asked about it, and then everything was fine. The waiter was clearly very stressed. The first waiter (the one who took our order) was very courteous and hospitable and did his job professionally and at the right pace. A big compliment to the kitchen; the food is very good.
