Good fresh food, not overpriced. Toilets aren’t great but the only downfall

Woke up early while travelling in Florence and was looking for a nice, relaxing spot to have breakfast – stumbled across Shake Café on Via degli Avelli and it turned out to be the perfect find. The coffee was solid – proper Italian style with a rich, smooth flavour. Paired it with a fresh croissant, and honestly, that simple combo just made my morning. Sometimes you don’t need anything fancy – just good coffee, a nice pastry, and a chill vibe. Found out later that Shake Café actually has a few locations around Florence, but I really liked this one because it had a small outdoor seating area. Perfect for sitting back and soaking in the quiet morning atmosphere before the city gets busy. If you’re a tourist like me and want a cosy spot to start your day, this place is definitely worth checking out. Relaxed vibe, friendly service, and a proper Italian breakfast – can’t go wrong!

A good cappuccino and friendly staff, compliments

Nice central breakfast spot in Florence with reasonable prices. Spot is right next to a lot of big attractions which also means it gets busy at certain times. Service was fast and friendly. The quality of the food and portion sizes are really good for the price.

The worst taste ever....it just has no taste. It's close to no taste. It's so bad. Don't eat matcha latte and blueberry muffin.....

To be in the square of Santa Maria Novella...HONEST prices!!! Excellent breakfast

Estábamos aquí para un aperitivo rápido alrededor de las 16. 00 . Pedimos el Caser y Caprese wrap, que estaban absolutamente deliciosos. El personal es amable y acogedor. Tienen lcoations por toda la ciudad que es agradable, volvimos al día siguiente a la más cercana a nuestro hotel. El matcha latte helado era bueno pero demasiado lechoso. ¡Definitivamente prueba las envolturas! Café está decorado muy bien y el ambiente es genial.

E’ l’ennesima volta che vado da Shake, posso affermare che ho sempre trovato un servizio ed una organizzazione perfetta, gentile e soprattutto giovane. Un offerta di pietanze ampissima e non ripetitiva, sempre con ingredienti di ottima qualità. Uno spazio grande dove poter stare rilassati. Le cameriere sono sempre gentili, disponibili ed altrettanto il personale al banco, sempre sorridente, cosa non scontata.
