Shabu Japanese Fusion Restaurant In Codogno

All you can eat of a slightly higher level than classic sushi. I went for the first time a year ago and compared to now it seemed a bit worse in terms of serving.

Dinner for two. Location in the square in Codogno. All the rolls ordered had a lot of rice and very little fish. The fish-only dishes ordered, however, are excellent, except for the salmon sashimi which is served with a drop of drizzle. Good rosé to accompany. Young, helpful and courteous service. Salty bill. The outdoor tables are pleasant but there is an exaggerated amount of smog from passing and maneuvering cars. Overall I thought it was much better.

I was there a few weeks ago. Being allergic to nickel, I had to avoid all rolls that contained soy and other sauces. The food is good, I would have preferred fresher fish. Excellent tempura. The waiter had divided the dishes by order and this did not create any kind of confusion. Two big problems: the bill and privacy. There were 10 of us and they made us sit in the internal room, we looked like anchovies dipped in vinegar because we were so cramped. Behind us? Full table. We paid €46 per person WITHOUT a receipt.

At the time of the bill, the waitress makes a round figure for each one on her own initiative and inflates the bill It's a shame because the food was very good and the other waiter was very professional

I love eating sushi... But normally when I eat around various restaurants... I have the feeling (I'm speaking for myself obviously) that every dish strangely has the same taste. .... Finally at Shabu I was able to taste the different flavor of each dish. I appreciated and felt the freshness of the product cooked very well. ... In short, it definitely stands out from the crowd. Excellent service... Very fast and professional. Well done, keep it up! I highly recommend it.

We didn’t have a reservation so the staff placed us in a very tight corner at the end of the restaurant. The owner didn’t give us the option of selection between all you can eat formula and à la carte so we ended pay more than most of the tables around us. The service was acceptable although the waitress made us understand that we needed to leave once we finished eating. I enjoyed the food on the whole, the presentation was nice. The soya sauce was a bit on the watery side. The owner did do us a small discount which was much appreciated. It might be worth to try the place a second time to make a better opinion.
