Yesterday, the two of us dined at Sette Oche in Altalena and had a truly wonderful evening. We would especially like to commend our waiter, Maidul. He was by far the friendliest, most attentive, and most pleasant waiter we encountered during our seven days in Rome. His calm, warm voice, his polite manner, and his attentiveness—without ever being intrusive—made the evening truly special. The little Santa hat he wore added to the lovely, festive atmosphere and was actually the first time we'd seen anything like it here. The food was also excellent: We had a delicious bruschetta as a starter. I had a Pizza Diavola, and my mother had spaghetti aglio—both were incredibly tasty and freshly prepared. The price was also perfectly reasonable; we felt that €65 for two people was absolutely fair for Rome. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening with excellent food and outstanding service from Maidul. Highly recommended. P.S.: Quiet, stylish music played outside. P.S.: There was also a lady who brought us part of the food - unfortunately, we didn't find her particularly friendly (she didn't seem service-oriented) - however, this may have just been a snapshot in time.

A reimagined tavern serving Roman cuisine You can tell it's still in its infancy, as it lacks the confidence of those who have already tried it. This leads to a bit of a wait, small portions, and uncertain service, but everything can be improved. Overall, I recommend it because it's away from the tourist crowds and still has a clean, original feel. Outdoor tables are also available.

We ordered gnocchi and ravioli, and they were actually quite good. The focaccia was tasty, but it was more like pizza dough. However, the background music was very loud on the terrace, making it difficult to communicate.

Baked potatoes cold and dry :( tasty steak, delicious Aperol. Carbonara too cold and rigatoni pasta for those who prefer a distinct al dente pasta.

Very nice atmosphere, delicious food and kind staff - definitely coming back again :)
