Unmissable hut. The wonderful paths to get there, the peculiarity of the architecture and the hospitality of the managers made my visit to the Sesselschwaige a true poem.

The Sesselschwaige is an absolute recommendation: wonderful views, very tasty food and great service. What more could you want after a hike there? One of the best mountain huts we have visited - also perfectly priced!

Lydia and her family were the most welcoming and wonderful hosts. The rustic charm of this hut and impeccable quality of home-cooked food are only exceeded by their level of care for their guests. Incredible value for money as well.

03/12/2024: Warm and welcoming environment on the edge of the historic center of Egna. The quality of the food was excellent, although personally I would have preferred slightly more generous portions of the first courses. Prices below average for the area. Attentive and friendly service.
