Great location, brilliant hiking trail from the valley. Then the Kaiserschmarren at the top of the hut. Awesome.

A place where pure hospitality and friendliness still exists. We are so happy that we accidentally ended up at the Sesselschwaige. What warm and sweet people Elmar and Lydia are. From moment 1 we and our children felt welcome. Delicious food, which was largely prepared according to traditional methods. In short, a true pearl in South Tyrol!

Unmissable hut. The wonderful paths to get there, the peculiarity of the architecture and the hospitality of the managers made my visit to the Sesselschwaige a true poem.

05/01/2025: Notato per una colazione con mia moglie, abbiamo provato a pranzare al Liberty's e ... Non c'è ne siamo pentiti. Locale bello, pulito e spazioso. Cibo ottimo, con un plauso la gulasch di manzo ed alla qualità dello speck. Personale eccellente per tutto. Un piccolo suggerimento: un aiutino ai nostri amici diversamente abili per accedere alla toilette non guasterebbe. Da riprovare senza indugio per la prossima visita a Merano

05/03/2025: The food was OK, but nothing more. Ate Schlutzkrapfen, salad and dumplings. Staff was attentive.
03/03/2025: The place is truly beautiful, modern and very welcoming. There is a lot of choice on the menu and each dish is prepared with care and with a careful selection of ingredients. The service was fast and very friendly and smiling. We will definitely be back.
