Very nice, relaxed place to do some work. Not all places have plugs, so bring a full battery. The toilet can use an upgrade and non-plastic cups would be great, for both the drinking experience and the environment.

The greenhouses of the Margherita Gardens are one of the most beautiful places in all of Bologna and represent a perfect example of the revitalization of a derelict historic space and its return to the city. Over the years, I've been there less and less because, after each visit, what I'm left with is a huge "I don't know," and I say this with enormous regret. If you go in the afternoon, it's practically an open-air study hall with kids drinking filtered water. If you want something to drink, finding a seat is very difficult, sometimes impossible. The approach of the people at the bar is often very, very basic. It doesn't really encourage you to return. Furthermore, the prices are like those of bars in the city center, but without any form of service. You bounce from one line to another for everything. One of the last times I was there was a Sunday in early spring for an interactive installation with augmented reality, but nothing. Devices were out of power even though the main greenhouse was practically empty. The previous time was the famous November evening that ended with collective contagion. I still think the place is wonderful, but it could be improved. I'm partial to the Mubi reviews, which remain a little gem.

A cute place, especially recommended for an outdoor aperitivo: the outdoor space isn't very well-maintained, but the atmosphere is truly pleasant. The cocktails aren't particularly memorable, just average, and the food selection is also decent, with some tempting options but nothing exceptional. It's worth noting that there's no table service: to order both drinks and food, you have to get up and go to the counter, which can be a bit awkward. The prices are in line with the city average, so overall, the experience is fair for what's on offer. A good place if you're looking for a casual, relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice place to study/work. Good lunch options and fair prices. Perhaps only the cleanliness of the toilets could be improved.
