The awarding of the first prize to Debora Garritani, the second to Monica Mazzone and the third to Alessandro Nanni is not only an economic recognition, but a declaration of intent, an inclination towards artistic practices that question the present with clarity and courage. Bella struttura e bellissime mostre.

The Mart in Rovereto is an unmissable experience for lovers of modern and contemporary art! Mario Botta's architecture is a work of art in itself, with its glass dome overlooking the square and bright, modern interior spaces. The permanent collection is vast and well curated, with works by Italian and international artists of the caliber of De Chirico, Balla, Fontana, Warhol and many others. The temporary exhibitions are always of a high standard and offer interesting food for thought. Overall, the Mart is a very valuable museum that is definitely worth a visit. A place where art, architecture and culture come together in a unique and stimulating experience.

We visited the Mart in Rovereto, one of the most important modern and contemporary art museums in Italy, on the first Sunday of the month, enjoying free entry. Despite the excellent turnout of visitors, we did not encounter any waiting at the entrance, making the experience truly comfortable and relaxing. The museum's layout is extraordinary, and the exhibitions present at that time were truly unmissable. Particularly fascinating was the exhibition dedicated to Italo Cremona, which offered us an in-depth look at the works of this important twentieth-century artist. His works, visionary and full of meaning, manage to communicate a timeless aesthetic that involves and makes us reflect. Furthermore, we were able to admire the tenth edition of the VAF Foundation Award, an exhibition that celebrates young Italian art. This award, established by the German foundation VAF to support emerging talents, features works by contemporary artists, offering a variety of styles and perspectives that reflect the energy and creativity of the new generation. It was an exciting experience to observe how these young artists interpret the modern world through their innovative and original works. I highly recommend a visit to the Mart in Rovereto: it is an enriching experience, perfect for art enthusiasts and anyone who wants to discover new creative perspectives.

I've always liked the MART, a nice museum. We could have done better in the layout of the exhibitions, the permanent one in Cremona and the Etruscans had a somewhat chaotic itinerary. The one from the VAF foundation is very beautiful, too bad about the intro written by Sgarbi, a character I wouldn't want to have to remember. It is paradoxical to read Marinetti's futurist manifesto in the context of what we call culture, but it is right that it is there for the sake of completeness of the exposition and so as not to make the usual poor in spirit, frightened by cancel culture, cry.

Permanent collection of contemporary art with wonderful pieces (futurism above all). Temporary exhibitions always of a high standard.

Very large museum, welcomes visitors in a large, modern and bright square. It took me three hours to admire all the rooms with the various exhibitions but they go by quickly. With the tourist card I got from the hotel I didn't have to pay the entrance fee. Beautiful experience.
