On sunny days it is pleasant to eat outside even if you are on the pavement you still feel enveloped in the atmosphere of a typical Roman trattoria. Excellent food.

I always come back to this place very willingly. Why 4 stars? Read.
Roman osteria DOC as far as I'm concerned. I discovered a wine, Cesanese, that I didn't know. I believe this is precisely what taverns should do: promote the territory. There are 4 of us eating. There are no artichokes because they are out of season (even if it's a shame, it's an excellent thing) and beans with pork rinds because they're more winter-like (this is even more disappointing). For the appetizer we choose tripe (excellent but a more intense and tasty sauce would not have altered the dish), courgette flower stuffed with gorgonzola salami (the taste is a little too strong which alters the flavor of the typical Roman-style stuffed courgette flower), arancini very good cheese and pepper. Then comes the best: the carbonara (in the photo). Maybe 300g of impeccably cooked pasta, as dense as needed and just the right amount of flavour. Really excellent, like 5 years ago when I was in this place. We paid €25 each. Excellent for Rome and for the place I would say. Three stars for the environment only because it is a little small due to the number of tables, but in line with the concept of a tavern. So the 4 stars only because not everything is TOP, but like five years ago, highly recommended!

Discovered by chance, Hosteria in the Cinecittà area, quiet and not crowded environment.
I ordered: tonnarello cacio e pepe (lots of cheese and little pepper), good, sautéed cigoria and a spectacular tiramisu 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝.
Fast service, non-intrusive waiters.
Fair price.

A couple of days ago I had dinner with my family. We almost all ate tonnarelli cacio e pepe: a dish without praise and without glory, I have eaten better, the tonnarelli were hard and the sauce a little too strong. The meat was good. Online prices.

I found out about this place because it was close to the high school I attended. Small and welcoming place but if the weather is good there are also a few tables outside. Friendly and pleasant staff. As for the food, I must say it was exceptional, generous portions and well seasoned. It has become my favorite place!!

Basic Roman cuisine with good value for money.
Good supplì, spaghetti carbonara, tonnarelli cheese and pepper and white with veal and courgette flowers.
The tiramisu was also good
