Seggio Beach & Chicalinda In Castagneto carducci

Excellent fish, fresh and perfectly seasoned, beautiful sea views, and cheap parking 400 meters from the beach. Another plus is that you can eat here almost all day long, which is not very common in Italy.

We had lunch at this wonderful place on Sunday, September 21st. The spaghetti with lupini beans and fried fish with vegetables and fries were divine, along with two delicious desserts and generous portions. The price was very reasonable considering the location, right in the sand. We'll definitely be back.

Food: 5* Location: 5* Child-friendliness: 5* We were so happy with this restaurant until the bill arrived; all the dishes were delicious – especially the tuna in a sesame crust. The children were also well catered for with the children's menu and the small playground on the beach. Then came the surprise when paying. One dish was incorrectly labeled and priced (no big deal, it can happen, maybe a mistake) – when we asked, we were told we had ordered it (it wasn't even on the menu) and that's what we got. After explaining again that we had ordered and received the dish from the menu, which was half the price, we were denied again and tried to charge a higher price for a dish that wasn't listed anywhere?! A deliberate rip-off when paying, a no-go! So, take a close look at the bill. The rest was wonderful.

We've been coming to Marina di Castagneto Carducci for five years, and this year we immediately noticed a change in management...for the better! Dining on the beach, listening to the sea, is a significant added bonus to the excellent cuisine and the young, attentive staff. The fried fish is highly recommended. See you next year.

A free beach with friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Add to this an excellent restaurant with a wide selection of fish and catch of the day, and it's a must-see if you're near Castagneto Carducci and want to enjoy a swim with all the comforts of home!

Beautiful location, more than friendly staff—in fact, I'd say extremely friendly, friendly, attentive, and polite. Today we tried the Mediterranean-style paccheri with Taggiasca olives and mackerel—ten out of ten! Well done, Walter!

We discovered summer 2025 just an hour from home...near the dog beach, a huge beach, super-efficient beach service with loungers and umbrellas, and an absolutely top-notch bar-restaurant area. In addition to the well-kept and pleasant atmosphere, we found the restaurant service to be astonishing, with impeccably prepared aperitifs, delicious dishes (the sesame-crusted tuna was a real treat), the oysters with the cocktails, and a truly knowledgeable maître d' who recommended an excellent wine. The service staff were all extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. A highly recommended place, one to keep as a reference. Well done!

Ieri io e mio marito abbiamo pranzato in questo incantevole ristorante sul mare che offre un’esperienza culinaria unica nella splendida cornice di Marina di Castagneto Carducci. Il pesce fresco è semplicemente squisito, preparato con maestria e cura dei dettagli. Il servizio è accogliente e professionale, grazie a Giuseppe e ai ragazzi che ti fanno subito sentire come a casa! Il piatto del giorno è una vera perla: gli spaghetti ai ricci di mare sono un'esplosione di sapori e genuinità! E non dimenticate di provare il tonno, sia come tartare che in crosta, è un vero capolavoro che merita assolutamente l'assaggio. Anche i dolci sono golosissimi 😋 La combinazione di paesaggio costiero e buon cibo rende l'occasione ancora più speciale, consiglio vivamente di fermarvi al Chicalinda! 🌊 ☀️ 🐟
