The weather was bad so it was crowded. Excessive prices.

Located at 2,500 meters above sea level at the top station of the Seceda cable car above Ortisei, this mountain restaurant offers stunning views—especially from the terrace and the tables near the glass wall. The place is decently staffed, so service is fairly quick, although it’s not particularly refined, which is to be expected for an alpine eatery. The menu includes a range of pasta dishes and Tyrolean specialties. I had the tagliatelle with deer ragù. The sauce was decent, and there was plenty of meat—good for those with a big appetite—but the quality varied, with some tougher cuts and a few pieces containing tendons. At €33 for a plate of pasta and a cappuccino, it’s on the expensive side. This place is worth it if you’re already at the top and want to enjoy the view over lunch. Otherwise, it might be better to bring a picnic, eat before heading up, or wait until you’re back down—likely more economical and possibly tastier.

Beautiful restaurant and view and a nice place to enjoy after a long day exploring. It’s a perfect base to establish yourself before the next big hike. If you so choose to push yourself to some higher elevations, the staff was all friendly. The food and the drinks were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend going here much better than even the pictures show.

The service is slow, we waited 20 minutes for our food order, the waitress pretends not to see you. I do not recommend.

Las vistas desde la Curona son impresionantes. Perfectamente preparado y presentado platos locales. Una gran selección de vinos de la zona. El servicio es insuperable. Si esquías en La Longia sin saltar a la Curona te estás perdiendo una verdadera joya

Tolle, kleine aber feine Hütte. Wir waren schon öfter hier und haben , bei tollem Wetter, das tolle Essen genossen. Auch beim nächsten Urlaub kommen wir wieder!
