Very good wines, varied range but paying 30€/person to taste 3 wines and a few antipasti is very expensive! At the average bottle price, we would have had 3 bottles. Let's not forget that the objective of a tasting is to introduce people (advertising!) and that very often this ends in sale. If sold they could cancel the cost of the tasting, this is not the case. So very expensive.

Had such a wonderful experience at the winery doing the 5 wine tasting, I was the only person who booked my time slot and would up having a solo tour with Elsie and she was so kind, informative and professional!! The food was wonderful as well. It was worth every penny, I absolutely recommend doing this tour if you are considering it!

Beautiful, elegant cellar and excellent wines. The premises are located in a historic structure, expertly restored. Taste and passion can be felt, not only in the excellence of the wines, but also in the attention to every detail. I was lucky enough to be guided, during the visit, by a young lady, Elisa, competent and passionate who conveyed to me her love for this reality, the flagship for all of Salento. I will often return to buy their wines!

We go to the wine tasting every year! Excellent service for years, very friendly staff and, in addition to the very tasty wine, simply top service! We can't wait for next year and can recommend tasting Schola Sarmenti's wonderful wines to everyone!

Magic. In its pure state. Visit planned and finally carried out on an unfortunate and very rainy day at the beginning of July and... well I would NEVER have wanted to leave! A great assortment, correct prices (very) and very kind staff. Ah, I almost forgot... the great Schola Sarmenti products!! Well done, or rather no, very good!!

19/08/2024: Agriturismo Santa Chiara: A Slice of Paradise in Puglia Agriturismo Santa Chiara is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the property's enchanting beauty. Nestled amidst lush olive groves and vineyards, it's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we slept soundly every night. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying our morning coffee on the private patio. The pool area was an oasis of tranquility. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The food was simply divine, showcasing the best of Puglia's culinary traditions. We especially enjoyed the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and homemade pasta. The staff and location was incredibly kid friendly. Our three year old daughter loved the pool, shopping in Gallipoli and exploring the local beaches. We can't wait to return to Agriturismo Santa Chiara and experience this magical place again. Highly recommended!

30/07/2024: We got a recomendation from a lovely loval couple in Alezio while cycling around - and from that morning we are coming back twice a day😃 the place is open from very early morning until late night and is always full but still tranquil. All the things we tried are wonderful and so tasty from cornettos, pactichottos, cookies (my favourite one is a ball stuffed with cream and pastry cream) to gelato and they also have salty things ( like little pizza pieces, croquetes, sandwiches - which my doughter found delightfully beacause she isn’t a sweettooth. We just love the place - Francesco who in perfect English explaines all the pastries: how they are made ( ingridients), for which region they are tipical and all other recomendations… thank you. Big respect to the chef who makes such pastries worth a royalty. I honestly give a 5 star - it is a must!!!
