Definitely One of the best place in Apulia. We visited the winery in May and still can't forgot how lovely place it is. Thank you to Luciana to share her perspective with every single bottle of wine. Your approach to the wine and talk with people makes the world a beautiful place and I hope to have the chance to meet you again sometime in my life. Salute !

I've had several wines from this winery, from basic to top. (In my opinion, a winery distinguishes itself by the attention it pays even to basic wines.) Something that runs through all quality categories: the wines have a freshness and a certain acidity that I really like! For me, that's a sign of clean work and a not-too-late harvest. Compliments!! I hope I'll have the opportunity to visit the winery someday.

We chose Schola sarmenti for our wedding and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the first meeting, the staff proved to be professional, helpful and attentive to every detail. I met them in 2004, the year I went to Salento for the first time. The cellar had just been renovated, the rooms were spectacular, the Lecce stone with its colors created a magical atmosphere, the owner was very kind and conveyed all his enthusiasm to me by showing me the work that had just been completed and telling me its story. Since then several decades have passed, I have continued to frequent this splendid land and have made it a safe haven throughout the year (and not just in the summer as unfortunately often happens for hasty tourists). I have had the opportunity to see both Schola Sarmenti and the city that hosts it grow and improve and I have always treated myself, over time, to a good bottle from this cellar. I returned for the Corimei Primitivo Passito (excellent!) and sat in the Wine Bar where Schola Sarmenti allows you to enjoy guided tastings of its many labels. Very particular environment, reserved and cared for, owners and staff always smiling and available. The growth and professionalism with which they made Schola Sarmenti grow and become known and the attention and style they gave to their work are to be appreciated and praised. Well done!

Schola Sarmenti is a fabulous cantina in the heart of Nardò. We did a tour and tasting. The tour was easy to book and a phenomenal experience. The tour was informative, well executed and showed the beautiful spaces of Schola Sarmenti (cantina, wine cellar, bottling/processing room, small museum and tasting room). We did the 5 wine tasting with food pairing and discovered some new wines to add to the list of those we already love from Sarmenti. Elisa (our guide) was extremely kind and knowledgeable about the wines (we thoroughly enjoyed the tasting and getting to know Elisa). The wines were all delicious, and the food including their own olive oil was plentiful and very tasty! Aside from the wine it’s self, the branding, labels, and graphic design might be the best I’ve seen. Thank you to Elisa, Manuela and the Schola Sarmenti Team for such a wonderful experience.
