The little place is really nice and we ate well. The girl who serves is nice and kind. The only problem is the big guy who I think is the owner/cook. No form of greeting in the phone call to book (in which I specified name and time 3-4 times). No form of greeting when he called me to find out where we were (he had written down the time of the reservation incorrectly). No form of greeting when we arrived, not even after I purposely said "Good morning" three times.

Siamo stati in questo locale attirati dalle recensioni positive: piccolino ma accogliente. Abbiamo preso canederli in brodo e il bis di canederli, entrambi davvero buoni, e lo strudel come dessert. Abbiamo mangiato bene e le porzioni erano abbondanti, senza attese eccessive durante il servizio. Volendo trovare una nota negativa, le due fettine di pane che ci hanno portato erano secche, migliorabile. Invece la ragazza che ci ha accolto e servito durante la cena ci ha fatto sentire a casa, nonostante i diversi tavoli da gestire da sola è sempre stata gentilissima e sorridente!

The food is delicious, but expensive for what it is. The atmosphere is cozy, typical of this area. However, we had an unpleasant situation with the service. We finished eating our appetizer and were told the card machine was broken. We didn't have any cash, so they told us we'd have to go get it before they brought us our main course. In other words, they made us go in the middle of the meal; they couldn't wait for us to finish. The cashier didn't have any money, so we asked if they accepted American dollars, and they said they did. The bill was 55; we paid with 60, and they conveniently told us they couldn't give us change. They can convert euros to dollars to charge us, but not to give us change? In any case, it should have been resolved in favor of the customer and charged us 50. Everything was very unpleasant.

Locale bello e accogliente nel centro di Dobbiaco. Ci siamo fermati a pranzo trovandoci molto bene assaggiando tagliatelle di cervo, menù del giorno, dolce e vino locale. Prezzi in linea con la zona. Titolari cortesi e disponibili e servizio rapido. Pienamente soddisfatti.
