We gladly return every year to this refuge, which maintains its authenticity, perhaps due to the fact that the climb is challenging and therefore not as popular as other refuges in the area.
The food is good, authentic, and reasonably priced, and the beautiful walk on the glaciological trail rounds off the day perfectly.

The Schlenbödele Hut is one of the most popular stops in the region. Situated high above the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can still feel the true tranquility of the mountains and a special coziness that invites you to linger. A true highlight is the excellent cuisine: lovingly prepared South Tyrolean specialties and seasonal dishes are served here – best accompanied by a fine glass of wine or a refreshing drink. On the sunny terrace or in the rustic dining rooms, you can fully experience the successful combination of nature, enjoyment, and warm hospitality.

So, when we vacation in Siusi, the Schlernbödele Hut is almost always our first stop. It's a bit away from the hustle and bustle, but in my opinion, they serve the best Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes).
The staff is very friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is simply lovely. We'll definitely be back!!!

We stopped at this lovely Baita for lunch and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything from the Knödel to the Apricot Cake was deliscious. The waiter was very kind and the service was also pretty fast. The hike up is a little demanding and quite steep so take that into consideration when wanting to visit. The prices are more than fair and we will be back for sure! See you soon! Next time i will add some photos😉

Had the best Knödel ever in this warm and welcoming hütte. Very nice and friendly young people. And the older as well. 😉

One of the best and coziest huts with the best team of hosts. Plus, the food is delicious. A great hut with a fantastic atmosphere right below the Schlern. A great area for children to play with, including a swing, a trampoline, and plenty of natural play elements.
Two clean, well-maintained 10-person dormitories with a great view and shared bathrooms right across the street. Plenty of children's toys and books are available. Very child-friendly, helpful, and dedicated, even with minor and major injuries.
