Historic restaurant in Isola del Liri, and every time I go I am happy, even if I didn't find the staff I thought I would find, but they were within their reach... Excellent food, same service but it's only worth trying if you come to Isola del Liri... Two people €80 but the taste is well repaid..

Excellent food and very attentive service despite the crowds

We are always searching for authentic and delicious food. This restaurant came with a twist of extra creativity. All the dishes surpassed each other in the quality of ingredients and preparation that exceeded our expectations: a symphony of flavors! We cleaned up our plates and it was a lot of food! Have not tried their primi and that’s a great excuse for us to come back. We focused mostly on the meat side of the menu: the tartare was flavorful, hand cut and melted in our mouth. The filet mignon au poivre vert, cooked medium rare and just perfect! Bufaletta - a local specialty made with water buffalo meat so very soft and flavorful. Although we were totally full, we could not skip on their version of “scomposta” dessert - perfectly balanced lightly sweet chantilly whipped cream, berries remoulade and crispy puff. We will be back!

Both the environment and the food were excellent... I recommend it

Arm yourself with a lot of patience, speed is not their strong point. The quality of the food is very high, good starters, first very, very well done and good, only that between the starters and the first courses it took more than an hour, it's true that we didn't help, 5 of us ordered 5 different firsts, but this doesn't justify the wait. Fair price for the location and quality

Ristorante un po’ démodé,menù scarso ,cibo però buono e ben cucinato attesa troppo lunga per i tavoli occupati,prezzo nella media

Sono tornata in questo ristorante dopo 10 anni e ho trovato un locale rifinito ma sempre adatto alle famiglie. I primi di terra presi erano tutti buoni mentre il mio riso con lime e vongole non era buono, il riso era troppo cotto e aspro e le vongole in lontano ricordo insapore. Per il resto servizio cortese ma un po’ lento (probabilmente in quanto molto affollato il locale) e prezzo medio/alto.
