Sax Pub In Trieste

A pub with excellent food! We went to Sax Pub around 11 pm, with about 15 people, without a reservation. They managed to accommodate us despite the lack of advance notice. The sandwiches are delicious, some truly enormous! The quality of the meat is excellent, and the burgers are all homemade. A great place to grab a good sandwich, with some vegetarian options, though none of us chose them. I highly recommend this intimate place. They even offered us limoncello at the end of the meal!

I order sandwiches from them every now and then. They're fantastic. The pub sax is excellent. Must try!

Disappoint me! Please! Haha! No way! Today, after a long day of training and work, I really didn't feel like cooking or choosing what to have for dinner. I went into Sax Pub and asked for advice. Tonight they let me try the bikers' sandwich! It was the bomb. Quality meat, fresh vegetables, soft and crunchy bread. The flavor of the sandwich is exceptional because every single ingredient has its own original flavor, and that's no small thing. The sauces complement everything as if they'd always been there. It really fit my day. I'd like to add that they gave me a little paper take-out bag—made in Italy. I confess, I love the details.

The food is excellent and plentiful, the only flaw is that the customers are quite noisy.

It's a small place, and as soon as you walk in, you can smell the strong smell of fried food. But other than that, the food is very good and the portions are generous! The prices seem fair to me.
