Located on the corner of a quiet street between Viale Parioli and Via Panama, I love this place because as soon as you enter, a panorama of the most appetizing and enticing things opens up (pizzas, supplì, various fried foods) that you could "kill yourself without restraint" (mentally, for a moment, I often think about doing so). But once you've overcome the moment of human weakness and gluttony, you can maintain control and opt for a healthier but still tasty meal (for example, lemon scallops and boiled spinach) that will make you feel good for the rest of the day. They also work incredibly hard, so every tray is freshly baked and doesn't last until the next day. If you happen to be there during off-peak hours, there are also two tables outside where you can relax on nice days. For a quick and complete lunch, this is my absolute go-to place when I'm in Rome.
