Saravanaa Bhavan In Roma

We went there as a family for a snack (masala tea + vadai). There's a tax of 1 euro per person. And we found the prices to be more expensive than in France. Example: 2 vadai = 6 euros. The food itself, from the little we tasted, was good, the place was clean, and the staff helpful and friendly. I just found the price high compared to other places.

Good tasty quality Indian food. The order (panir curry, mango lassi) was ready very fast. The host to whom you pay the bill is a bit grumpy and never smilies, which affects the general vibe of the place

I go back as often as I can! Authentic Indian cuisine, a flavorful vegetarian restaurant (I'm not vegetarian)! Friendly and attentive service. One of my favorite places, highly recommended!

In this restaurant I would recommend the amazing South Indian food. Everything had a lot of flavour to it. A bit pricy but would recommend.

Felt right at home in the heart of Rome, walking into a South Indian restaurant managed by a Keralite. Almost all the servers are students from Kerala. Being a couple from Kerala, we felt great to be fed by them: the authentic taste of Dosa, Idly, Rice, and Meals. It is a busy restaurant with lot of people coming in just for the food, server and ambience: nationalities range from Indian (South and North), Sri Lankan, Italian, and many more 😀. The way the servers respect everyone is commendable and they ask the needs of customers and act accordingly. They are guided by a good leader. The food is very tasty regardless of what you order. We ate food from there for the 2 days we were there: 3 times - 2 dinners and 1 lunch. We had 2 Cheese Masala Dosas (filled with Gouda Cheese), 1 Onion Masala Dosa, and 2 Vegetable Uthapams in these 3 meals. As per usual this restaurant is TOP. Never disappoints. I ate in the Frankfurt, the Amsterdam and the The Hague branch. All super. Airconditioning was good, service was excellent. Felt like coming home. Grazie tutti!

Authentic South Indian Food in foreign land. North Indian food was average but Rasam was amazing appetizer! Ambience was calming and all the staff was happy helping people satisfy their hunger. Good place to have one major meal everyday while you are in Rome.
