Beautiful restaurant located on Via Sardegna, in the historic center of Cagliari. We ordered two typical menus for €30, excellent and tasty! The staff was friendly, professional, and courteous.

The place is a bit confusing; the staff doesn't always speak Italian well, and we can't always understand each other very well. Not all the dishes they brought us were right, and even though they acknowledged the mistakes, we were a bit disappointed.

I ordered a carbonara, excellent 10/10. We tried pasta with seafood and another with tomato sauce. Everything was delicious!!

We went for lunch on Sunday, without booking in advance. The fish was delicious, and the appetizers, first courses, and second courses were very well prepared. It's a shame we felt like we were intruding! Not even a smile, and when we asked for bread, the waiter went off for a cigarette and then brought it to the table. The bill, however, was in line with the excellent food.

Nice place on the main restaurant street. The food was good, generous portions, and prices were average. The seafood risotto was excellent (€16). The staff were quick and helpful.

Ottimo, senza niente d'aggiungere. Personale gentile ed attento. Nel nostro caso si sono dimenticati solo d'indicarci i formaggi della selezione, ma può succedere con un locale pieno in orario di cena. Per il resto davvero sul pezzo. Veloci e bravi. Continuate così

I took the fixed menu for 25 euros, fish-based, everything was delicious from the spaghetti with clams to the mixed fried fish, fast service.

Unfortunately there was no place outside or inside the premises on level 0, so I had a table on level -1, but the food was very tasty. I recommend spaghetti alle vongole.

21/08/2025: I visited maito' restaurant in Forte dei Marmi for the first time. I hadn’t booked a table, so I understand it may not have been easy to accommodate me. The restaurant was not very busy, but I was seated in the hallway table, which felt a little disappointing. On the positive side, the food & service was really good + we paid 30€ for the seats. I hope the restaurant can improve in how they welcome first-time guests especially when there's many tables available.
19/08/2025: It's impossible to go to Forte dei Marmi and not notice MAITÓ. Knowledgeable and helpful wait staff. Good, carefully prepared dishes. Prices are reasonable.
