Cosy Restaurant with amazing food and desserts

My overall experience was very positive, with some reservations. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a professional team, in a rather elegant setting even if the terrace on the edge of the Olbia ZTL was quite noisy. We opted for the Essenza menu, a beautiful variation of dishes highlighting seafood and local ingredients. We accompanied our meal with a Pinot Grigio, which went perfectly with our dishes. However, the cream pasta (sardine and lemon I think) was a little too salty for my taste, which slightly dampened the enjoyment of this dish. On the other hand, the Orto menu was a disappointment. This vegetarian menu, although promising, turned out to be too simple and lacked flavor. Most dishes consisted of crunchy but bland vegetables. More elaborate preparations, such as roasted, grilled or wok-style vegetables with a few spices, would have brought more character to these dishes. In conclusion, L'Essenza Bistrot offers a quality gastronomic experience for those who appreciate seafood. However, the prices are high, around one hundred euros per person minimum, including menu and wine, and the vegetarian menu is worth checking out. be rethought.

Beautiful bistro, a bit hidden in the center of Olbia. Delicious food, excellent service and great wine menu. Would definitely come back and recommend to whoever is in town.

The setting of the restaurant is magnificent, and the servers are welcoming, smiling, and very helpful! We were able to book only three hours in advance and were picked up quickly. A very good aperitif dinner was offered to us, charged at 10 euros, as is the custom in Italy. The starters were excellent, with a tasty saffron risotto and pasta with an exquisite lemon sauce. However, the main dishes disappointed us. The fried vegetables lacked flavor, the vegetables were not very spicy and the sauce was quite bland. The “Fish and Chips” was also not up to par: we might have expected a revisited version, given the setting and the price, but it turned out to be banal, not very tasty, and disappointing both on both in terms of taste and presentation. This is regrettable, especially considering the prices, which are those of a high quality restaurant. We left a little disappointed. Small mention also to the fact that the restaurant is located in an intersection where the traffic can be quite noisy.

Excellent meal in a quiet street in Olbia.

We visited Essenza Bistrot a week ago, in a trip for our honeymoon. The restaurant was suggested by various Greek tourist articles and dining there was indeed a lifetime experience! We got the a la carte menu and all of the dishes were exceptional! Ioanna, was amazing, very helpful and friendly and we did enjoy the conversation with her! She also suggested us some very good locations and beaches near Olbia! Don't miss the chance and visit this incredible place!
