Cenamos el lunes 14 de abril. Qué experiencia maravillosa. Patrizia y Luigi eran tan acogedores y hospitalarios, que nos hicieron sentir como en casa y como viejos amigos perdidos hace mucho tiempo. Elegimos el menú de pescado, Patrizia me había enviado un correo electrónico ese día para decir que compró un poco de pescado fresco. La comida era increíble, y había muchos platos. Esto fue sin duda un punto culminante de nuestro viaje. Realmente debe reservar esta experiencia, le resultará difícil obtener experiencia este estándar de cocina en cualquier otro lugar.

Fabulous experience! Excellent food quality, delicious dishes that are also visually satisfying because they are beautifully plated! Excellent wine! During dinner we were also told some tidbits about the origin of some of the names of the dishes and why they are cooked that way, some advice on how to cook fish at home! Go with a good hunger because you will leave full to bursting and with flavors you have never tried before! (We don't eat sardines, but Patrizia's sardines alla beccafico are truly special!) The hosts are two wonderful people, they put you at ease right away, polite, kind and helpful. At the end of the evening they also offered us a cigar to smoke in company! If you’re looking for a unique experience during your travels to Agrigento you have come to the right place. Patrizia and Luigi, a beautiful husband and wife duo made us feel right at home and even made sure to have a translator present just in case there was a language barrier. All three were divine individuals who welcomed us, quite literally, with open arms. We made this unique stop on our honeymoon, as my roots are from Racalmuto, not far from Agrigento. We wanted to experience true Sicilian home cooked food, as my nonna would have made it. The food was delicious and authentic, each dish came with a detailed explanation of how it was made and where it derived.
