Sapore Greco In Perugia

Excellent Greek restaurant, located in the center of Perugia. The woman was very kind and attentive to our requests. We didn't have a long wait even though it was Saturday, and the place was very nice. If I had to find a flaw, it was the fried foods; they weren't the best. The pita was good.

The best I've ever tasted! Better than Greece's!!

Typical Greek cuisine, TRULY traditional and authentic, almost everything made fresh. Absolutely exceptional, impossible to find a better alternative in Umbria for Greek cuisine. Friendly and helpful owner, pleasant atmosphere, clean and well-kept place.

They really nail it! Both the pitas and the polpette are packed with flavor. Great service, too!

Came here for some quick carryout and I am so glad I did. Owner/chef was super friendly and was great to chat with while I waited. He said I was about to get the best pita in Europe, and it sure was! Good food and good people make the world go 'round! Σας ευχαριστώ

Excellent! This little place on Corso Garibaldi makes truly delicious pita: perfect dough, quality ingredients, and GENEROUS portions. The owner is friendly and welcoming; you can tell he's happy with his job, and he manages to convey that joy to his customers (even through the music!). I really enjoyed the vegetarian menu, especially the Greek Salad pita and the Halloumi pita: it's hard to find Greek restaurants with so many vegetarian options, and even harder to find such good halloumi elsewhere! To make the place even more special, it would be fantastic to also offer a tzatziki with plant-based yogurt (like soy), so all the vegetarian pitas could easily be veganized. The tahini is good, but it gets boring after a while... a vegan tzatziki would be the icing on the cake!

Very good, fresh, and delicious Greek cuisine. The owner makes you feel at home: he hums Greek songs while cooking at the counter, allowing guests to see the entire process. Unpretentious, but top-quality. We both dined in and ordered takeout (prepared, packaged, and eaten very quickly). The cheese puffs with honey are delicious!!!
