Sapore Greco In Perugia

The food is very delicious (and cheap), for 5/6 euros you eat very well, I recommend trying the Kotobacon with pink beet sauce

I had lunch last week in this small Greek place and I ordered a Pita with chicken and chickpea meatballs. The owner was friendly and was happy to help me prepare a combination of ingredients that he had never done before. Highly recommended!

Attn. American friends: If you move here from the US or are just visiting…you could possibly be craving fast food when that awful stuff is finally taken from your easy reach (AS IT SHOULD BE 😉🫶🏼) …HOWEVER… when you feel homesick and MUST indulge… THIS is the place you can satisfy that craving! The fries are amazing- the gyros are perfect… I can’t explain just go and watch what people come out with… I PROMISE you will walk in the door and point to something and say “I want that.” ❤️✌️

I've been to Greece often and love Greek cuisine, and this little place offers the best of Greek street food. It doesn't have many tables, but so far I've always found a seat. If you want, you can also buy take-away food at reasonable prices. The Cyprus cheese is particularly excellent. The boy at the counter is friendly and helpful, but is often alone serving and juggles the times as best he can. In my opinion, however, it is worth the wait.

Typical Greek cuisine in a historic street of the city of Perugia, Corso Garibaldi also known as the "Golden Village", where the owner makes a delicious pita with corn flour and well-marinated meats together with the addition of feta and other cheeses all seasoned with a good variety of typical sauces, chickpea sauce and the wonderful tzatziki above all. Highly recommended

Sapore Greco is a good place to go as a family, as a couple, with friends or alone. We had never tried Greek food and now we love it. At Sapore Greco you will find a quiet atmosphere where you can enjoy all their wonderful dishes, with good prices. I recommend it 100%! Whenever we go to Perugia we will repeat. Small but well-kept place, the guy at the service and in the kitchen was very nice and helpful. We spent 31 euros between us, taking four bottles of water, some broad bean meatballs, some aubergine meatballs (both very good and accompanied by beetroot sauce), a plated pita with strips of pork, chips, Greek salad and tzaziki (all delicious, the tasty meat, the fresh salad, the pita also delicious) and a stuffed pita
