Good restaurant, good food and reasonable price

This restaurant was discovered by chance while strolling through Ostuni. We contacted a number found on Facebook to inquire about reservations, and they were very helpful. If you don't want to skip the line, you can make a reservation; otherwise, you can wait in line. I went at 8:00 PM and found two free tables, so I was able to get a seat quickly. The staff was very friendly and available to answer questions and provide clarifications. The traditional dishes were excellently prepared, with a home-made flavor, and the portions were slightly larger than usual, which I really appreciated. Orecchiette with sauce and meatballs, and pureed fava beans with chicory and burrata were exceptional! The prices were very reasonable, and I'll definitely be returning.

Everything is super good but on the other hand the tiramisu supposedly homemade - disaster in my opinion not at all homemade!

Saperi&Sapori is worth a visit, nestled in a characteristic corner of the White City. You can eat inside, where there's a pleasant space upstairs, or outside, where there are simple tables set up along the street. Quick service, with generous portions, served by a waitress (I don't know her name, but she's blonde, with black-framed glasses) who's always smiling and ready to answer questions about the dishes. Not just to us, but also to the foreign customers who were there last night. Friendly staff, who go out of their way to make customers feel comfortable. I know the local cuisine (my daughter is from Ostuni), and coming here took me back to the happy years of my childhood. My daughter was able to taste the typical flavors I told her about: appetizer with Salento onions, frise pasta with tomato and oil, orecchiette (strictly handmade) with meatballs in tomato sauce. The owners are also kind, quick, and always ready to listen to customers' requests. No one spared themselves during the time we were there.

Beautifully located restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. One of the best tagliere I've ever eaten!

Homemade local food in old town in Ostuni. Very tasty. Quite place a bit hidden from main tourists traffic.

Locale caratteristico per la sua posizione alle spalle della cattedrale di Ostuni. Consigliato dalla nostra host del B&b, abbiamo subito pensato di passare da li per provare le orecchiette alle cime di rapa! Che dire… piatto da provare se passi da quelle parti! Personale gentilissimo e disponibile! Incredibile!!!!!
