The ice cream is truly excellent, the service is top-notch, and you can even sit outside if it's raining!

We arrive for breakfast, waited a while to be served. Once we place our order the waiter came back to say our order was no longer available. Placed another order and they forgot to bring my food. In all not a great experience

Francesco and young Gianmarco were very attentive and the antipasti was excellent. Recommend the cocktails… the sea breeze cocktail and Hugo spritz were a perfect accompaniment to the platter. A perfect way to celebrate our last evening in Otranto. Thank you!

If you’re in Otranto and craving ice cream, Santamarea is the place to go! 🍨 The gelato here is absolutely delicious — creamy, rich, and full of flavor. The portions are surprisingly generous, so you definitely get great value for your money.
What made the experience even better was the lovely lady behind the counter. She was super kind, welcoming, and added a warm personal touch to our visit. It’s rare to find a place that combines both excellent quality and genuine hospitality, but Santamarea does exactly that.
Highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat — you won’t be disappointed! 🌊✨

While visiting the beautiful city of Otranto, we stopped at this restaurant, drawn by its magnificent location and view. The appetizers were average, and the appetizers (served as accompaniments) were sparse, almost nonexistent. In my opinion, the service and professionalism of the waitresses could be improved; I found them rather distracted and absent.
