Santa Marta In Mazzè

We were invited by a dear friend who knows the Canavese area and Mazzè well. It was a wonderful discovery for us: first, the village, a true gem where time seems to have stood still, and then the restaurant, a true gem! The location is a deconsecrated chapel, dedicated to Saint Martha, meticulously renovated with just the right balance, where modernity and clean lines enhance the history of the original structure. The cuisine is sublime: we were surprised and pampered by the spring menu, which takes advantage of the richness and flavors of wild and seasonal herbs, paired with typical Canavese wines, balanced and never boring. In short, it's a place that has a lot to say, and says it well!

A refreshing oasis in a corner of the world from another era! I'll definitely return to this place for the friendly staff, the quality and originality of the dishes, and the comprehensive and interesting wine list. We arrived before opening time, but were nevertheless greeted with incredible hospitality. An example of a welcoming culture from another era.
