Exceptional food, excellent quality, impeccably cooked and presented, excellent service

The real deal! This is the type of small local restaurant we were expecting to find all around Sicily but you really have to search outside the main tourist area. It is very simple, but everything is fresh and freshly prepared from the fish you select from the giant tray the waiter brings around, to the just baked bread (not reheated) to the homemade pastas. You will be sitting in a real neighborhood with Italians and the waiter won’t speak English but the menu is translated. If you are a foodie this is the place you’ve been looking for. Prices great and you’ll wait a bit for the food-always a good sign that’s it’s not reheated. The night before we ate at a 3x more expensive place and the fish was not only frozen but overcooked.

A fantastic little restaurant with great food and wonderful, personalized service. We had booked a table for eight. Unfortunately, a severe thunderstorm began. They made every effort to ensure we could enjoy a fantastic evening inside, a little later than originally planned, with only eight people inside. The food was extremely good, even by Sicilian standards. Thank you very much.

An excellent experience in an intimate setting with a clearly high-quality culinary offering. Both the Santa Chiara pasta (original) and the roasted capon are excellent. The desserts are also top-notch. The owner is friendly and the chef is knowledgeable. The price is fair. Recommended.
