Sans Souci In Locri

The location is cute, clean, and very tidy, with both indoor and outdoor tables. We chose the outdoor area, which was a great idea because it's surrounded by a green garden with nautical decorations, a combination we really liked. We weren't very hungry, so we went straight to the main course. The swordfish rolls were really good, with a delicate flavor, very pleasant and refined. The mixed fried fish, consisting of mixed seafood, shrimp, and red sole, coated in a very thin batter, was also crispy and very fresh. The staff were friendly, it wasn't crowded or noisy, and the music was soft and pleasant. For two main courses, a water, a coffee, and a cover charge, we paid less than €50. Since the restaurant is located on a small, fairly narrow street, I recommend parking on the main road, where there is free parking.

For us, it's always been a constant. In the cool, quiet garden, unpretentious cuisine, yet deliciously rich and made with excellent local produce, can complement any friendly, often family, conversation, because ultimately, you also feel like a guest of a friendly and welcoming family. The service is discreet, precise, and punctual.

The fish dishes were incredibly fresh and plentiful. The lady who welcomed us was very kind and helpful, not only about her dishes but also about nearby attractions. We had a great time listening to her recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, but given the recommendations, I expected more. The place is very nice, but the service needs a complete overhaul. The chef, however, was very friendly.

We went for dinner with friends and it was a pleasant surprise; we hadn't been there in many years. We started with 3 hot seafood appetizers and 2 raw seafood dishes, both excellent. Then we had a 3-course spaghetti dish with garlic, oil, chili pepper, and lemon caviar, with a shrimp tartare that was truly excellent. We were a little disappointed with the 3 spaghetti dishes with sea urchins; they completely lacked the flavor of the sea urchin. Then for the main course, 1 tuna fillet, 3 cod, and 1 amberjack, all really well done and delicious. Accompanied by 2 excellent bottles of Grecetto white wine from Cantina Statti. For dessert, 2 excellent tiramisu dishes and 1 Pizzo truffle with hazelnuts and figs that was decent. I expected a little less for the bill. A nice location with a small garden at the back, between the houses, but well-landscaped enough to almost hide them. Lots of grass and palm trees helped make the outside area pleasant. The service was precise and attentive, the owners were smiling and kind both upon arrival and when we left.

Fish and top-quality preparation. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The wine list could be improved. A must-try.

It's a restaurant that aims to imitate a gourmet style, so the portions are small but good. The quality-price ratio isn't great by my standards. The grilled octopus is great for teaching children to count to 10, and the gnocchi to 20. The outdoor tables aren't the best; it's impossible to maintain proper posture because the table legs are positioned in such a way that they prevent the knees from being under the table.

Great ambience in the backyard and friendly and courteous staff
