We stayed at this hotel a while back… and we had a wonderful time. Excellent value for money, beautiful location near the beach, so very convenient. We've always eaten excellently; they even organized the Ferragosto evening and the Sardinian-themed evening, everything delicious. The waiters and owners were very kind and welcoming. I recommend the hotel, especially considering the dinner (we've always eaten well and easily digestible).

We stayed for a few days and would sum it up like this: Great location, very accommodating and friendly staff, a new and tastefully decorated bathroom, and a clean room that was serviced daily – absolutely top-notch!

Hotel Sandalyon is run by wonderful people, especially Chiara, who welcomed us with kindness and courtesy, always available to answer any questions despite the busy schedule, as she was also busy waiting tables during dinner. Giorgio, too, was very elegant in taking orders and recommending wines. All the staff were also very friendly, including Caterina, the breakfast lady, Annalisa, who serves at the bar, and Alessandro (if I remember correctly), who also works at the bar but also waits at dinner. Not to mention the excellent room service, with daily change of towels and bathrobes. The hotel is strategically located, very close to the beautiful La Cinta beach and the center of San Teodoro (a beautiful town, a real gem). The speed of table service during dinner is noteworthy, with always a varied and appropriate portion size. If I may offer just one piece of constructive criticism, it would be to change the way cappuccino is served at breakfast from the machine, which often requires waiting in line. In other 3-star hotels, the classic cappuccino from the bar was served directly at the table. It's definitely worth considering for your next (hopefully soon) vacation in Sardinia. P.S. They also accept dogs, like our poodle, who was given plenty of cuddles and petting by both Annalisa and Alessandro, and we know that animal lovers have different sensibilities. However, it must be said that my wife and I always try to be polite and respectful of other guests, who may not appreciate the presence of animals around the hotel. We're also lucky because our dog is also very well-behaved; she didn't bother anyone at all; in fact, almost everyone smiled at her. Thank you.

Beautiful Hotel with a perfect location about 200 m from a beautiful beach with clean sea. We had half board, food for a three-star hotel is good. The room is great, there is everything you need. Wonderful friendly staff!!! The only thing that surprised us was that they charged 10€ per person for showering after check-out in a dirty shower behind the hotel, see the photo, that's why I give only 4 stars

They love children, great service, salads are incredibly big

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very warm and welcoming, always smiling and genuinely kind. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to the beach, making it super easy to pop back and forth between sunbathing and relaxing at the hotel. A big plus: they offer towel and sun umbrella rentals, which saved us so much hassle (no overpacking or hunting for beach gear!). The room was clean and comfortable, though I have to laugh about the shower, it’s *unbelievably* tiny! If you’re taller or just enjoy space, be prepared for some creative maneuvering (seriously, it’s a squeeze!). Overall, this place is a gem for beach lovers who want a friendly, convenient stay.

What a fantastic stay at Sandalyon! The hotel has a great mix of rustic and modern feel. The food is amazing: great quality, everything coocked to perfection and amazing flavours. Perfect location, 2 minute walk from the stunning La Cinta beach. The staff is wonderfully helpful and friendly. Thanks a lot to Giorgio and all the staff at Sandalyon for the amazing experience, definitely want to come back! Grazie mille!

Quiet location just steps from the beach. Clean but very dated structure. Bare rooms, dated and poorly cared for furnishings. Friendly staff. Low price in May. Abundant and good breakfast.
