SaMadrighe In Sassari

Unnecessarily expensive. The dough is delicious, but the available flavors aren't anything original or special enough to justify €20 for a pizza. Service is very fast, but so fast that they snatch your plate from under your nose as soon as you've taken the last bite, because they had to clear the table for the second sitting. The dining room is small, and you had to shout to speak (in my case, there was a huge table with children, which was inappropriate in a place like this given its small size).

Exceptional pizza, probably the best I've ever had. Even though we travel a lot and have tried many, Sa Madrighe amazed us with the quality of the ingredients and the incredibly light and digestible dough. The flavor combinations are spot-on and sophisticated. The place is very pleasant, quiet, and not at all chaotic. A must-try in Sassari for those who love real, quality pizza. It's best to book in advance.

We arrived on a Sunday evening by chance. Our son had friends over for dinner, and we left them alone and undisturbed. Our favorite restaurant was closed, so we chose this place, drawn by its ancient name, which evokes the tradition of leavening, harking back to a distant past when the first leavened products were likely created. The name certainly lived up to our expectations; behind the dough, you can see a truly meticulous and expert master. We weren't particularly hungry, but the pizzas were truly satisfying and were very welcome. Super-light dough, perfectly cooked, carefully selected ingredients... the best pizza I've ever had (even compared to those I've had in Naples at renowned pizzerias). Great craftsmanship and love come to life. The focus on the walls is the dough, grasped in the hands with ancient gestures... very evocative... highly recommended. The experience is extremely high-quality and enjoyable.

Highly recommended. Easy-to-digest pizza and truly tasty ingredients. Many different doughs, including pizzas to share. The desserts are also excellent. Prices are more reasonable than other pizzerias. The place is also nice and the staff are friendly (always a good asset). So far, this is the best pizza I've had in Sassari. Reservations are recommended.

Excellent pizza: just the right amount of crispiness without being dry, and well-seasoned. The cheesecake is also very good. The service is quite quick, and the place is small but well-kept. I visited many years ago and didn't like it, but now it's a whole different story. Reservations are recommended because it fills up quickly.

The 8-slice pizza is very good, but the regular one could be better…
