We stayed at Casa Saltara and immediately felt at home, even our little poodle. The staff was friendly and helpful. We also tried Casa Saltara's restaurant and were very pleased with the quality of the food and the excellent service.

Dinner here was super special. It’s such a beautiful and romantic atmosphere for dinner. The service is out of this world. The food felt like it celebrated the best of Sardinian produce! The charcuterie board was probably the best I’ve ever had - don’t skip it. The pastas were great. The roast porceddu was really tasty, it was definitely not the best pork I’ve ever had as I think it’s hard to keep all the cuts moist when cooked over fire. For dessert I personally do not think tiramisu benefits from edits of any kind, including the addition of myrtle which they do here. But overall this meal was incredible I wished we had stayed at the hotel - the photos on booking.com don’t do it justice at all.

One of the best (and most beautiful) experiences I've ever had! I've been to Saltara and I can say with certainty that everything was perfect. I tasted porceddu for the first time in my life and it was really good — I had never liked it before, but here it was a real revelation: crunchy on the outside, very tender on the inside, tasty just right. And the pasta? I discovered Gulurgiones, and I swear, it's the best I've ever eaten: a stuffed pasta that melts in your mouth, full of flavor and made with love. But the real strong point? The waiter, MATTEO!!. Very kind, knowledgeable, smiling: he gave us great advice, knew every detail of the dishes and you could see that he loved his job. A presence that made the experience even more special.

Great place, small private house which is your bedroom, with small terrace. you imagine yourself in the tropical forest, / clamping feeling The food is excellent, the suckling pig is the specialty. many guests from outside who come here to eat. A perfect place to stay for a few days. Friendly personal.

Great service, great experience, great food and great welcome, the only shame is that from my point of view you can't ask us if we would like two glasses of wine while waiting for the booked table and then at the end add €24 to the bill and while they read the receipt, they even hold their finger on the price to hide it... 😉

We were guests at the restaurant and would like to thank you very much for the wonderful evening! The food was excellent and the staff really friendly. Since we had our dog with us, they discussed with us where we would be best seated – really very nice :) I would definitely recommend it :)
