Lovely little shop with a restaurant. Stopped over for a quick lunch with the wife on a Monday. Great food and very friendly staff. A memorable experience

A truly beautiful place with an integrated shop and restaurant! We were personally greeted by the owner and warmly escorted to our table – this immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is small but very attractively curated. Both the wine and the dishes were described in detail, making the choice easy. The food was good overall. My cacio e pepe was a bit too saturated in the cheese sauce for my taste, and the guanciale in the carbonara unfortunately had a slightly burnt taste. Nevertheless, the dishes were overall successful.

It would include typical Italian cuisine with excellent products, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Maximiliano treated us wonderfully. It's a small place, and you can also buy takeout. If you go to Sassari, don't leave without stopping by.

Whether you're staying nearby or it's a quick visit, you absolutely have to stop by this magnificent place. Small but so characteristic, at Sale e Pepe the food is spectacular. I chose a carbonara: top-cooked spaghetti, super creamy sauce and out-of-this-world bacon. There were two of us, without a reservation: they sat us down right away. We waited a bit for the pasta, but in the meantime they brought us a piece of suckling pig to try. Really kind and nice. A carbonara like this is hard to find, well done!!! What a wonderful discovery in Sassari!!! Keep it up, and I hope to return very soon!

We received a wonderful welcome despite our late arrival for lunch, with smiles, helpful advice, and good humor. Each of the seven people at the table enjoyed their dish and the recommended wine. I highly recommend it. Thank you, Sale & Pepe

Eine ganz wunderbare Bottega und Salumeria! Freundlich wurden wir empfangen und beraten. Wir bestellten zunächst eine Portion vom sardischen Schinken. Dieser war bereits köstlich. Danach Carbonara und Lasagne, ebenfalls beides lecker. Zum Abschluss gab es warmen und leckeren Apfelkuchen und einen Expresso. Zusammen mit einer Flasche Mineralwasser kamen wir auf 45,50 €. Das Besitzerpaar ist wirklich entzückend. Danke für dieses köstliche Mahl!

A small jewel where you can find excellent products such as cured meats and cheeses and a collection of excellent quality wines at the counter. We ate both lunch and dinner with great satisfaction. The friendliness and courtesy of the owner and the reasonable prices make this place an absolute five star.
