Sale & Pepe In Sassari

We found out about the place through Google Maps and reading the Google reviews it suited us. We really liked the bolognese lasagna, caccio e pepe pasta and carlofortina. Also the parmeggiana and the typical Sardinian sweet. Very good attention :) if we can we will return!

Nice store with a small dining room, you can buy a bottle of wine for example and you can have it there with some freshly cut sausages...we opted for a couple of delicious pasta dishes and a local dessert with coffee.

Siamo capitati in questo piccolo locale gastronomia/salsementeria su suggerimento di una buona forchetta. Sassari, nonostante non sia un comune turistico, ha un’ottima tradizione di locali come questo, in cui viene venduto cibo da asporto e dove è facile trovare prodotti estremamente ricercati. Qui hanno aggiunto qualche tavolo ed è quindi possibile mangiare serviti da personale gentile e competente. Abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi e formaggi che comprendeva: mortadella di pecora, jamon serrano, speck di anatra, pecorino ubriaco al cannonau e un brie triple creme. Tutto FAVOLOSO, particolare e come scritto sopra frutto di una grande ricerca dei prodotti. A seguire una carbonara e una carlofortina. La carbonara fatta alla perfezione, con il guanciale reso croccante separatamente e messo come condimento. Prezzi assolutamente buoni. Anzi, per noi che arriviamo da una città molto cara, addirittura bassi. Consigliato vivamente se venite a Sassari.

Very nice discovery of this little restaurant. We had a plate of cold cuts and Sardinian cheese and we enjoyed ourselves. Also homemade desserts just as delicious. I highly recommend it.

I ate a fantastic cacio e pepe and while waiting I ate a cutter with really excellent artisanal cured meats and cheeses...and if you're greedy like me ask for dessert...you'll find some exceptional cakes

Welcoming and familiar place, high quality raw materials, very kind staff who give useful advice on food. The price is not low but it is also true that quality has a cost.

A true paradise for the taste buds! Very kind staff and top quality products, I don't think there are similar businesses in Sassari that offer as much variety and refinement. Massimiliano is very helpful despite the always crowded place. Prices appropriate to the quality of the products and service. Highly recommended!

Biting basic pasta in this place didn't leave much to say. Quite good, a small portion, but nothing fantastic. Didn't really impress in any way and left a bit of an inexpressible feeling. The pricing maybe a bit high compared to the quality of the food. The location of the restaurant is of course good and as are the reviews, so it's worthwhile to try it once.
