Clean and well-kept environment, beautiful outdoor area. It's a shame it's underused in the winter. Good quality food.

First time at Sakura in Palermo, a restaurant in a villa with a dining room, a garden, and a conservatory. The only downside was the presence of cats that kept coming in and out, even when they were indiscreet (they didn't bother me, but others?). The service was provided by a team of young people with a strong will and a bit of experience. Delicious products.

The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are attentive and always present, a real plus. We ordered the all-you-can-eat option directly from our phone. Another plus is that, unfortunately, we weren't entirely convinced by the sushi. The rice was sometimes undercooked, the flavors were unimpressive, the spicy sauce wasn't spicy at all. Otherwise, I can't say anything about the quality. However, I'm a bit skeptical. Having craved good sushi after a while, I wasn't convinced by my choice. Another plus is the free-roaming kittens.

An exciting concept with "all you can eat" for €32 or a la carte. The food was excellent. The service staff were polite, but without a friendly word or questions about the food. The cashier, however, was very friendly. The atmosphere in the garden was wonderful.

The garden is a beautiful location, but the evening menu isn't as varied as the lunch menus.

Sometimes the call of the Orient overwhelms me, and the easiest way to satisfy this craving is a sushi night. So, along with another couple, we decided to book a table for four for dinner at Sakura. Arriving at our destination, I decided to park outside on the street in front of the entrance to avoid a convoluted car park, as the internal parking lot extends into an area suitable for anything but parking. Upon entering, we were drawn to the garden and the well-designed outdoor spaces, but they didn't evoke the craving for the Orient that had inspired us. To our great surprise, the tables we'd hoped to be "outdoors" were located in the air-conditioned but less atmospheric internal dining room. Seated at our combat stations, we were kindly greeted by the staff, who urged us to use the QR code at the center of the table to open the ordering app. The app is practically identical to the competition's, neither good nor bad, although I would improve one feature: they should include a list of previous orders, so let's not kid ourselves: "Yes, ciciri su fasuoli" (yes, chickpeas and beans). Basically, everything is similar, even aesthetically, and losing in the maze of orders is very easy. From a purely edible point of view, I really appreciated the mango sushi, which Sakura offers in several varieties, which nevertheless give you some truly interesting oriental touches. Everything else, let's be clear, is inexorably covered by the inevitable soy sauce, which balances all the flavors with its subtlety but makes everything monotonous, but this is a common denominator of all the sushi restaurants I've visited. Summing up, based on my ignorance, it still seems to me to be one of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants in Palermo, and perhaps the few euros more than the average price in the city are offset by the good quality of the ingredients, the location, and the kind and efficient staff. I forgot, when you arrive, your attention will be drawn to the disproportionate number of cats and kittens scampering far and wide, and I can already see you mulling over clichés about what might happen to these poor felines. I admit, I've made the same sleazy joke to friends. It's time to move away from clichés and urban legends, even if you can't imagine them. I ate everything except the meat-filled ones, just in case. A positive final rating of 4 stars seems fair to me, considering the professionalism and the quality of the ingredients used.

The food quality is fair, with plenty of variety and very, very slow service.

Un po troppo caro, onestamente pagare 34€ a persona più le bibite, abbiamo pagato x 2 persone quasi 95€ e con gli stessi soldi vado a mangiare da sal capone che si mangia molto meglio

Naka - Lounge Restaurant

13/09/2025: Asian restaurant with a view of Cefalù Cathedral, friendly staff, excellent service, and delicious food. It's not your typical all-you-can-eat restaurant; the menu is à la carte, and the dishes are well-prepared.
03/08/2025: I'm trying again after two years. Thanks to Marco Larosa, last night my husband and I spent a wonderful evening in a very evocative location, with excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared by expert hands. You're wondering where? All this at the Naka Restaurant, drinks & sushi with Mediterranean cuisine, right at the foot of Her Majesty the Cathedral. You can dine both inside and outside: we opted for the outside. The place is truly refined, very elegant. The table setting is very minimal, but with very refined touches, from the lamp to the metal chopsticks. Not to mention the real gem that really makes a difference these days...the champagne served in its 1920s-style glass. Truly remarkable!! (Enough with champagne served in a Prosecco flute... here at Naka, class is not water 😉.) Let's get to the food: the menu is well-described, divided into two lists for sushi and Mediterranean dishes. We opted for sushi; I don't remember the names of the dishes, but with sea urchins, Mazzara red shrimp, truffle, tuna, salmon...seaweed, and the excellent rice, it was a true taste experience, and each piece was an explosion of distinct flavors that blended divinely. In short, Naka confirms itself as a top place to return to again and again with great pleasure and the certainty of not being disappointed. The wait staff is attentive, discreet, and present, but never intrusive. Marco Larosa is an excellent host, always smiling and kind, ready to satisfy every desire. The price is absolutely in line with what Naka offers. 17/10/2025: One of the best all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants Kind and friendly staff Friendly Quiet place Excellent food I go there often and I can assure you it's addictive. I highly recommend it. €30/€40 per person, including wine and dessert.
13/10/2025: Very good sushi restaurant with friendly service. Marco spoke English well enough that we were able to communicate well despite my lack of Italian. Delicious sushi at a fair price!
