I have been to Sakana several times and have always eaten well. The service is courteous and not intrusive. A point of reference for a pleasant evening with friends.

I had lunch with my wife and two friends. I had Udon in broth, Takoyaki and Onigiri with salmon. The quality of the dishes was good, the Takoyaki were close to those I tried during my trip to Japan. Friendly staff, for some reason the speed of service seemed a little below expectations, since the place was not very full.

Interesting place in the Ostiense area specializing in sushi and Japanese cuisine. The prawn gyoza are excellent, thin pastry and tasty filling, less good are the meat ones where the filling has a flavor that is too strong and unbalanced for me. The scallop nigiri and the gunkan with red prawn, scallops and eggs are excellent. Temaki with spicy salmon and tempura crumbs is discreet, not very tasty, while the fried aubergine is very tasty, although more suitable for sharing as the flavor is a bit cloying. Very simple and delicate ceviche with rice, however I recommend using higher quality ginger and wasabi to accompany the dishes as those served cover and do not enhance the good preparations made by your chefs. I also tried one of the off-menu ones with lobster and prawn tempura but it didn't convince me as it was poor in flavour. To close, classic mochi with beans and mochi with mascarpone cream and chocolate, both very good. In conclusion, a good dinner at an adequate price in a typical context, around 55 euros per person with Japanese beer included. Fast and present service.

"Storico" Japanese restaurant in the Ostiense area, I have been there several times and in recent years it has certainly improved, it remains among the top 3 places in the Ostiense/Piramide area. Good sushi, exceptional ravioli. Prices a little high for the Sashimi, owner always kind and helpful.

Parecchio rumoroso, non grande organizzazione nel servizio. Le porzioni - ad esempio la tempera mista - molto contenute per il prezzo pagato. Déplacements degli ordini con altro a gusto dello chef……..La qualità del cibo, anche a detta degli altri 7 commensali, buona. Bah non sono un entusiasta del cibo giapponese ma sono sicuro che non tornerò una seconda volta anche perché al momento del pagamento ho dovuto chiedere lo scontrino altrimenti non lo avrebbe mai emesso. And this is not fair……

Sakana Sushi se ha convertido para mi en el mejor sushi de Roma. Pescado muy fresco, platos exquisitos y el personal maravilloso. El precio no importa cuando sales a cenar y vuelves a casa con la mejor sensación del mundo, tras haber cenado súper rico. Sushi maravilloso y servicio increíble.
