Sagra Dei Funghi In Giaveno

This regional fair draws large crowds to Giaveno in early October. The undisputed star is the "mushroom," a gastronomic specialty with an unmistakable flavor. In addition to stands selling various species, there are also stands selling other autumnal specialties, such as pumpkins, chestnuts, and walnuts. The event is well organized: in a decentralized location in Piazza Monsignor Antonio Delbosco, the Palafungo, a large marquee offering mushroom-based menus, is set up.
